My New Toy

Would you believe i bought a new camera just for this blog??? Lol...yeah i knew you wouldnt believe me...but i just did! meet my new Nikon Coolpix S570 compact camera in PINK!!! Did you hear that??? i finally bought a pink gadget!

As much as i may love pink, i've never gotten around to buying myself a pink gadget simply because all the gadgets that came in pink were those that are targeting teenagers with lousier specs =_= fml. so i went and bought myself an big and black dslr and a very big screened white iphone and none in pink! I was looking around for a budget compact camera that i can carry around in my handbag all the time just to take photos for my blog and i came across the S570.


And whaddaya know??? it came in pink!!! omg omg omg...and it meets my budget! i felt like a bimbo when i went in to the camera shop and just asked do you have pink for this model? :) Finally i can buy a pink gadget and i can compromise on the performance because this is going to be my secondary camera

Well, it's not really a bad camera since it has 12.0 mp,2.7" LCD,it is slim and compact,has a wide-angle lens,5x optical zoom...all you may want in a compact camera. See? it fits perfectly into the palm of my hand and believe me you, my palm is not big..lol

I'm not going to do a full-fledged review on this camera but overall it performs well and takes reasonable photos (as you will see in my coming posts). My only gripe is, it takes a while for the photo to "load" on the LCD screen. Initially, it will be blur and after a few seconds it will become clear. So after i take a photo i need to go back to the preview screen and wait for a while for the photo to load so that i can see whether the photo was blurred or not.


Still, i can live with it :) You may email me if you want a more detailed review and opinion if you are thinking of buying this camera. oh the price....its RM499 (with 4gb SDHC memory card and a casing) pretty basic stuffs
