This is the beef soup for 2 person and 2 bowls of kueh tiaw. The bowls of kueh tiaw were so mini and cute! keke...the kueh tiaw is really fine too...and is topped with browned garlic and some bean sprouts
the soup contains quite a generous portion of chunks of beef, beef balls (i suppose?) and beef tendon. too bad there were no other beef innards like the intestines. hehehe yea! me loves animal innards!!! growl!
the beef soup isnt your average normal thick and darker colored beef soup but it was ok paired with the smooth kueh tiaw. i think the portion for 2 costs RM12 inclusive of the kueh tiaw (i wasnt the one paying so i dont know the price..muahaha)
and our "tour guide" also ordered these "famous" chicken feet
i dont know why so many of the stalls in that food court is "FAMOUS" lol! well anyway these were pretty good! so maybe they are really famous?? the chicken feet is cooked to perfection, the melt-in-your-mouth kind! superb!
again, i dont know how much these were *burp* (edited: i think it was RM5)
a year later in Penang, i still feel like a tourist sometimes. So many places to explore and so many things to eat. Sometimes, i just feel a little sad because back when i was in Kuching, i know most "famous" eating places and always explore new places to eat so here i'm back to square one!
ok and another FAMOUS food at the food court, the nasi lemak
the rice was very fragrant but the sambal is a little spicy for me.
actually, we had another FAMOUS delicacy from that food court...but i forgot to take photos..LOL! i guess that's enough FAMOUS local delicacies from Weld Quay Food Court for today?

one of my male colleague had 3 packets in one seating! lol
Dunno where that is...but I love going to places like that! Usually the food is simply the best! None of those fancy cafes and restaurants for me. Yum!
