wo...it has been quite long since i last blog hasnt it? hehehe ... so many things on my agenda la last week..sorry :)

well...what i want to blog about today is ... about the little 'surprise' we had in office on thursday afternoon. for you see..for the past 2 years or so we've all been using all sorts of instant messaging system in the office. we use icq lo,yahoo messenger la..and some even use msn .. bla bla bla.

then we were all very happy and smiling to ourselves lo ... cos we were curi curi using the other proxy server which we THOUGHT the upper management people wont bother to go and check...

kekekekeke..then .... one fateful day.top management decided its time to create a new company portal. and on the portal!!!....there was a link called TOP 20 ICQ/YM/MSN USER.

wahlieu ehhh..really kia si lang when we saw that link. then leh....yours truly was one of the top 20 'x'!!! hahahahaha...i didnt even knwo what to feel...dono want to laugh or cry ...

i was no 12 la...still not that bad kok la...hahahaha... for the next few days i think i wont be able to look at my boss straight in the eye...paiseh u kno?hahaahhaha

Just because of an apple

well, its THE time of the month again and im feeling really miserable on a FRIDAY...yeaa, can u bliv it??? Everything doesnt feel right to me...there's the usual stomach cramps and the usual back pains ...arghhh it all gets almost unbearable when you might not have the chance to enjoy the looong holidays next week if i cant finish my stuffs b4 then...mmmm :

so i was thinking about the adam n eve story? erm...and i was wondering...is all this worth ONE LOUSY APPLE,eve?????????? it certainly is NOT!!!

day off

erm...during the weekends...my body failed me .. and first i was having sore throat and then it became DRY COUGHING when i drank only a cup of cold chrysanthemum tea....ghee it was only a cup leh.. :( hmm oh well...

so this morning when i got to work...my body feels abit warm warm like that...feels like fever to me...but i can never tell when i've got a fever...hehehe...and my coughing was as bad as ever.

so after 2 hours of work...i decided that i should go see a doc...

woe of all woes...my dad couldnt bring me to see a doctor cos he has to fetch my nephew from school at 11.45...it was already 11am at that time..and he was afraid that he wont be in time to reach his school if he were to bring me elsewhere to see a doc... :( ( I SHOULD GET A CAR SOONNNNNN ~>.<~)

so leaving me without a choice i had to pay the paediatrician or in layman's term...the CHILDREN'S specialist nxt door...YEA you heard me rite~! the CHILDREN'S specialist...

as i entered the clinic...i hesitated for a moment when i saw 3/4 mothers carrying their young babies...and i got a bit anxious when i saw that so i quickly walked to the receptionist and i asked her .... errrrr can adults come here too? then she said with a big smile ..yes yes ..u can...

then she asked me first time?? i said yes ..and she produced a form to fill in my details n then she asked me ...did you bring your baby card?? i was like huh????? then she smiled even more broadly and said nola..just joking.... -_-""

so i was feeling really really out of place there...and then it was my turn to go in...the doc looked at me and said...so,whats wrong with you? so i said blah blah blah...(for privacy reasons...my symptoms have been removed from this blog...kekeke)

and she said ...any fever??? then came the stupid part ... i was touching my own forehead and i said errrrrrrrrrr...i dono le..dono got fever or not...

and she looked at me with a furrowed brow...she must be saying to herself...this stupid gal..don even know she has fever or not...hehe

i didnt expect her to give me a sick leave la really (Red Sponge: really lahhh....i did not ask for sick leave)....i went to see a doc bcos i was afraid that my coughing might affect my hearing... i have sensitive ears you see? so i tot she wouldnt give me any sick leave..then she said ... i think you better rest at home...no air con,no cold drinks for you...

yayy..and thats how i got the day off...heeeheeee :)

well...me n the gals wanted to try out Red Sponge's bf's new car or rather Red Sponge wanted to try out her bf's car...and oh so kindly offered to pick us all car-less gals out for a gals nite out on friday.

not wanting to miss out on this once in a lifetime chance...i willingly agreed to skip my weekly choir practise...to patronise the newly opened...or rather newly opened eatery called ...BLA BLA BLA...yeaa you heard it...its called bla bla bla...lol

the first time Red Sponge told me about this place..i was like huh??? come on .... don play lahhh...she said it really is bla bla bla...hmmmm...speaking of weird names...

even so...me n my coursemates have ever joked about this...we were daydreaming and saying what if one day ... we could open up our very own company?? then one of my friend suggested that we should call it BLA BLA BLA...so that when people asks us...so what's ur company name?? we could say its BLA BLA BLA...n the other person would go like huh??? come on ,be serious.....and we could again say ...YALA..blablabla la.... lol .. ok enough abt that..

so went there and boy oh boy..there was no parking space and we had to park at the parking lots of a nearby supermarket and b4 5 of us could even say "AI SEE" there came a burly guard ... starting to telling us off for parking at the supermarket's premises when we were not going to the supermarket...i think he was rather rude. at such times..i just wish 13th Panda's big tall macho bf was there...hahahaha

forget about that jerk...so, as we entered bla bla bla we were greeted by a display of lovely lovely yummy cakes and desserts...mmm but i was too bz staring at the nice design of the restaurant to oggle at those cakes at that time. i think it was rather uniquely designed...the light was quite dim (suitable for dating couples *ahem*) and there...in between the counter and the staircase leading to the tables upstairs...there was ermm..sort of a..................how do you call it? a shallow pond?? haahah i dono how you call it ..i never was good in description.

well..there was this shallow pond lah...and there fish and pebbles inside...and in order to get thru the mini pond...there were 4/5 cement pavements in the middle of the pond for you to step on. sigh i wish i could take a photo of that...but theres this problem of being camera shy. i don mean me being camera shy..tho thats true as well...but my camera being camera shy... well, you would know why when you see the quality of the pictures taken that nite...hahaahha

there were some tables downstairs..but i were directed upstairs as there was no more empty tables there. upstairs was equallly nice...full of chatting people. and on every table theres this candle...so romantically lit. well, i find the place to have a rather couple-like ambience..but there was only one couple there that nite.the rest were full of chatty aunties and some pretty gals...( not forgetting us..ahem). there was only like 2/3 guys in the whole floor...hmmm...


Romantic candles...ahhhhhhh..life is shitty not having your bf near you...

So then we were presented with the menus by a rather friendly waiter

hmmm so .. me n wen2 ordered iced chocolate...Red Sponge and 13th Panda ordered hot chocolate and fel2 wanting to stand out among all of us i gez ^_^ ordered ermm...wat pandan wat tea..i dono la...mebe bla bla bla tea... khik 'x'

i omos immediately regretted ordering ICED chocolate cos the aircon was practically blowing into our faces...bbrrr...cold...heres my iced chocolate..it looks pretty nice la


oops..sorry made a mistake. this is 13th Panda's HOT chocolate hehe

so we were sitting there sipping our drinks and we looked around us...and to our embarassment .. the people in the other tables were ordering soft shell crabs la...steak lor...this that lo..bla bla bla lo... hehe.. and we were abit paiseh la..u know la, gals of our status need to take care of our face a bit la.....WAHAHAHA..as if we have any status..

so we agreed that it was really a bit embarassing when 5 of us were sitting in a table for 10 with only drinks...hahaha...so fel2 n wen2 volunteered to go downstairs to order some dessert...and TA DAHHH..they came back with a slice of erm...oh no...i've forgotten the name ... erm..it was........i know theres nougat inside and ermm theres got to be chocolate...so lets call it ...chocolate nougat blablabla cake.. ;)

the ....er............. CAKE! :)

as you can see..theres a strawberry halve on top of it ... which fel2 and wen2 tried to break into 5 pieces...mmmm....gals, nxt time if we wanna have a gals nite out...we better wait till its pay day...hahahha...Red Sponge and me didnt think it was really nice 'x' and it costs Rm9.90!

no longer idle

hehe another thing i wanna tell u guys is.................. i m no longer being left idle in office...so don worry about me being fired..hehehe...

i was feeling really lousy on monday morning n i finally have the guts to ask for WORK from my team leader...upon popping the question....BAMMM...work came...so now i work my ass off in the office..hahahahaha

to be honest... im not in a very pretty mood 2day. i dont exactly know the reason either ... my closest guess would be its DA time of the mth.....OOOPS did i just said that out loud in my blog???hahahaha...

good ol days

i've been wanting to write something on this since few weeks ago but i never got the chance...or rather i never managed to get my lazy fingers to type out this entry...hahahah..im afraid this is gonna be another long one...but i will try to make it short after the many complaints i've got for my THE LEGEND OF THE RED CURSE post..khik 'x'

i started to think about this when few weeks ago ...my coursemate chatted with me thru sms...during work :P he was telling me...its weird how we seem to hv nothing much to talk about now when we meet each other like once in 2 months when last time during college days...we will have endless stuff to talk about even tho we see each other every day

i was like errrrrrrrr....




i really had no explanation on this...its really sad u kno? we were really a bunch of rowdy noisy kids in college. everywhere we go...no matter what time it is ... we will have sth interesting to share and to giggle about. but now...we were like ... so how's job? good??? then vacuum silence ...............................................

hahaahahaha..in fact, most of our conversation were now based on jobs,money and more money talk. i really miss those good ol days..when there were nothing on our minds except for meeting assignment deadlines and cramming for exams. u know? those tasks seem to be rather enjoyable now compared to what i have to do in office everyday....*yawn*

well..at least we could enjoy each other's company while burning the midnite oil trying to finish our projects on time..it was really fun come to think of it. yeaa...we were pretty stressed out at that time... i remembered that we had to wake up early at 4am...then we would gather at one of our friend's house n there 5 of us will begin typing and coding and drawing and etc etc ... rite till 1/2 am.then we would go out have dinner and have some laughs... :) sweettt...




my fondest memory of college days was the time when we would hang around outside the lecture theatre after the 12 o clock lecture... we will start to ask each other...ehh where to eat where to eat??? and we will sit and talk and talk and talk....then one of us would remember to look at his watch and then we would only realised that an hour has passed and we were still sitting there discussing of where to have lunch...hahahaha...

come to think of it...its a lucky thing that we all still managed to pull thru final year with good grades...hahahaha...

sighhh..life really was carefree and lively at that time...

somehow...working life doesnt seem to be quite the same anymore. it is rather mind boggling...
yes...we've had our fun during work...but ....life ......................well...it isnt that crazy anymore. and we don have the chance to be crazy anyway.

for one...we wont b able to idle away our lunch break just to discuss where to eat rite?hahahah...

i really miss all my coursemates...i gez i wasnt so lucky as some people like Red Sponge who can still keep in constant contact with her schoolmates and coursemates. out of 8 of us crazy ones...only ard 4 are left in kuching. the others have either gone back to their own hometowns or have gone overseas to further their studies.

out of the remaining 4 of us however...well...life for each of us seem to have taken a different turn...each of us with our own different lives..except for one who turned out to be my bf at the end...heehee...

it is quite saddening to imagine how could this have happened???once close friends...now a hello and bye friend...if time would go back...i would have spent less time on studying and more time in socialising and spending time with friends...hahahaahhaha..and perhaps i would stil be studying by now cos i would be repeating the subjects over and over again...HAHAHAHA...

i gez life's like that...people come and people go... *sighhh*

As s0me of you might have noticed.................ermm...well maybe none of you may have noticed...my site counter has reached its FIRST 100!!!! yayyyyy!!!

THOU SHALT NOT GOSSIP!

it was again another BORING day at work..sigh... how i wish my team leader will give me tonnes of work to do... :(

so me,13th Panda, and another colleague were chatting our mouths off the WHOLE DAY...hahaha even i myself couldnt believe that we actually chatted from the morning till the afternoon! i feel a little guilty, to be receiving today's wages when i didn't do any work... but there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to do! Well, i guess thats how it is with project-based work...okok..enough with these mindless musings...haha.

so...we were talking so much crap..and at the end i came out with this topic...WHY ON EARTH ISIT THAT MY PARENTS WONT LET ME GO TO MY BF'S HOUSE?? well..for those with open minded parents ..i dont think this is such a big deal. Surprisingly, all 3 of our parents think alike. That's how kuchingite-parents think i gez...

they don't think its appropriate for a gal to go to a guy's house too often mainly because of these 2 obvious reasons:

1. Afraid that those 2 might be up to no good *wink wink*
2. Afraid of gossips

For No1 ... i have no say. No matter how i try to convince my mom that no no ... we only watch tv at his house..etc etc until i run out of saliva ... my mom wouldnt accept my explanations.

For reason no 2 however....oh boy... this is what i have to say...why worry about what other people will say??? no 1...our peers of course won't be saying anything if they know we gfs visit our bfs at their houses...that leaves the OLD FOLKS. I mean ... why poke your nose in other people's children's business???

Ya...so the MR SO N SO's son brings a Mr So n So's daughter to the house...SO WHAT??? Putting it in a bad way...even if Mr So n So's daughter gets pregnant... its none of your blahdi business isnt it?

So...why do our parents worry about us visiting our bfs house too often THEN??? The answer.................. ?

Its because our parents have gossiped about other people's daughters going to a guys house at least once in their lives. That's why they are so worried that their daughter might be gossiped back and then they might lose face. It makes sense doesnt it??? Chinese fear for their reputation the most!

Well...if in the first place they do not gossip about other people's children...why then do you worry about being gossiped???

it has been a boring day...what with Red Sponge being out station and me with nothing to do at work :(

I've been asking my friends at work...isit because im too efficient that i finish my work too fast or isit because im UNDERWORKED??? hahahah... i really dont know,but it seems that i've been complaining of being bored at work for one too many times already.

sighhh...how i wish could be so busy ...that i don't even have time to visit the toilet... :P

OH ONE LAST THIng..

i , the OLD-WOMAN-TO-BE have been browsing thru my cousin's friend list...and i couldnt help but find it amusing...how kids of 13 2day are sooo much more different than what we were back then.

for one....when i was 13...i do not have friendster or msn ... but wow these kids...they r really getting advanced..hahahaah.. i guess i 've not taken some time out to enter into the realms of the teenage minds for quite a long time...

AND HEY!! i just realised oen thing!!.. they r all underaged to be in friendster..!!!

okok .. enough abt this ..i sound like one big crazy OLD nut!

one more thing...

and she has more friends than i have in her friendster list. HOW COULD THAT BE???

the first few signs of old age...

i m still pretty shocked and surprised at what i got in my mail just now. My cousin...who i used to babysit when she was a toddler suddenly add me in friendster. I really couldnt believe it!!!..

She is the one whom i used to play around with and who used to hold my hands with her tiny little fingers and she will pull me round n round my house compound. She is the one whom i made her fall once...and she got a big lump on her head..khik...

argh..who am i to kid???time has flown by b4 i've even realised it. it has been around umm....lets see..10 years?? ...and now shes already a full grown lady...my goodnessss...I M GETTING OLD!!!

my eyes almost popped out of my head when i saw her photos in friendster..she is nearing her adulthood already...and here i am fooling aroudn everyday...

for all u know...she might even b more matured than me...from wat i can c from her photos..and her blog!..she even has a BLOG for g'ness sake..!!! @@

words fail to express the feelings i feel rite now...hahaah yeaa..its a simple matter...people grow up dont they?? but my little cousin adding me in friendster is like a ..err...........a ..wake up call for me! its like heloooo??????? u r getting old ... and u r still acting like a teenage gal in form 5 ...HAHAHAHAHA...

Movie production

After watching the Legend of the Red Curse, Sarawak's first movie...i've given the thought of movie production much thought. I mean, if a movie like that can be shown on the big screen, y don't i make a movie with my very own digital camera...its not going to be that hard isnt it?

the first thing that came to my mind was the title of the movie. And without further thinking, i've decided that the 2nd movie of sarawak should best be called

"The Legend of the Red Sponge"

hahahaha...ya! thats gonna be it! It will be my honour to Red Sponge. And then as i've agreed with our first production meeting during work just now, Red Sponge has agreed to play the main role in my movie with the condition that she will work beside Andy Lau and she clearly stated that she dont mind a low pay just as long as she can kiss Andy Lau during one of the scenes.

She has really stated a high price. But,since she's my dear friend...i will have to sacrifice quite a lot just to make her agree to act in my masterpiece. After much thought, I've managed to contact a friend of my grandmother's uncle's niece's cousin's husband's sister's sister in law's brother who have been Andy Lau's nanny since his birth.

So, wish me luck my dear readers in the making of this epic film...where my dear friend , Red Sponge will get to act alongside Andy Lau and will even share a kiss in the movie...Andy Lau has so kindly gave me his consent to appear in my movie...and he has even sent me a photo of him to publish on my blog...that's really too generous of him really...

The Legend of the Red Curse

hehehe...i've just come back from watching the first ever movie entirely shot in Sarawak. hmmmm and what i have to say is........................................hehehehe

yah! im honest..! around 1/4 of the movie consists of this eerie, high pitch "hehehehe" supposedly made by the 'ghost' ... hahaha so after me n my sis watched the movie, all i had to say on the way home was "hehehehe" and i was feeling nauseous due to the lousy handling of the camera at the end. I had to stuff my face with popcorn in order to prevent myself from puking! hahahaha well,its not that bad lah...but its quite bad..lol! but dont fret, the camera starts to get out of control only at the end... so for those who are planning on watching the movie..u may still go n watch without bringing your sea-sick pills..LOL just kidding.

well, i think i m gonna blog about the entire movie...and it will contain some spoilers...so if you don't think its worth it to spend RM9 on watching the movie...do read on! hehe!
i was lucky enough to get my hands on RM5 tickets thanks to my friend. to be honest,i won't spend my hard-earned RM9 on this movie if not for this complimentary ticket.

if you ask my friends...they would tell you i've been pretty excited over watching this movie for the past few days...but, i can tell you its not the same kind of excitement as i always feel when im going to watch movies like harry potter or lord of the rings,no. i was pretty curious on how the entire movie would turn up to be like. and like i've said, it is a history in making...so i just want to make sure that i can tell my grandchildren nxt time that I've watched Sarawak's first ever movie.. on the BIG SCREEN! heh...

ok..enough with the cock talk...now lets get on to the movie...

the movie was mainly acted out by 4 main actors and actresses. the 2 actresses being our ex local beauty pageants... they r Sanny Lu, a Miss Sarawak of 2002 and Renai Mattu, our Miss Tourism International 2004. The other 2 guys, are Smyth Wong as Nick and Dominic Morris as JJ. All 4 being members of a final year project team.

the first scene shown was some sort of a prologue giving viewers some explanation on the story.here's what they have to say....well i didnt actually copy down the story word by word in the cinema so this is as close as i could get:

"the story begins in 1942"
"his parents were both killed by the japanese"
"he was left alone and he fled to a cave to hide"
"armed with only a mask and a red loin cloth,he would run out at night to look for food"
"one night,he was not so lucky"
"the villagers caught him"
"the next day,he died.the villagers put his remains in a 'tempayan' and placed it in his cave"
"they thought that would stop the little red thief"
"however!!!!![music heighthens], one nite...they found his mask"
"...the legend continues....."

hahahah not bad huh? i actually surprised myself as i typed these out. amazing i could still remember those words..hahahaha! well, i think it was a pretty good introduction, at least it didnt leave us clueless about the entire story.

the next scene shows Sanny,the chinese guy and the err..native guy at a local arts museum shooting antique looking masks. when it first started, the first thing that i noticed was.....their lips do not sync with the speech!! my goodness....its really quite obvious. its like the movie was acted out in another language and the speech that we heard was embedded into the scenes after the shooting. hmm...not very good there bjarne (Bjarne Wong is the director of the movie,just in case you dont know) :P it actually reminds me of a home made movie done by my coursemates few years ago...HAHAHA

one part of the movie which really tickles me is where JJ works part time at Star Cineplex!! the exact same cineplex in which we were watchin the movie..hahahaha..that scene's a classic!

next......the camera starts shooting Sanny at her really huge house, doing her research and so on n so on..its pretty boring..*yawn* until the heading "Sanny doing research at her college" came out!
woo i immediately sat up straight n opened my eyes wide @@

hahahaha that's cos, i've heard that my alma mater .. my oh so beautiful college was in one of the scenes in the movie...hahhahaha. the scenes shot there all are very much crap scenes... 'x'
it was showing err..sanny,lisa and the other 2 guys ..walking around the college. but the weird thing is...there were no students AT ALL. the whole college was just occupied by those 4 actors and actresses and their err..professor..who looks like someone they dragged in from the road. come to think of it...he looks like the guy selling burger outside my college gates.............hmmmm...the professor was talking to Sanny and Lisa with the fish market type of english. it was like:

Prof Crap: eh! Sanny you don 4get to submit your assignment ahhh..or i will fail u ah!!

well thats that...the next scene shows Sanny rummaging around in her dad's library....there was no explanation on what Sanny's dad was...and where was he until the very end of the movie..hmmhhmhm.. Sanny found an old old map...to God knows where...and she decides to do her research on the place shown in the map.

nexttt.........the 4 friends were in a 4 wheel drive with car plate number QKL7777..hahahah! they were goin somewhere farrrrrrrrrrr...thats all i know.

they then reached a long house...and this Sanny keeps on saying "this is not rite....this isnt rite!"
God knows what's not rite....then Lisa says ..BLAH BLAH BLAH.. and Nick says BLAH BLAH BLAH and JJ says ARGHHHHHH..and blah bla..

oh boy...im getting tired typing the whole story out...ok i change my mind..i wont include any REAL spoilers here.. i will just tell you what i think of the entire movie..KHIK...

well...to be honest... i think Renai Mattu was the best actress among the 4 of them. She spoke good english and she was pretty lively. Not like the other 3,they were errrrrrrrrrr...quite rigid. its quite funny come to think of it..hehe. however, she has huge thighs and she was wearing this really short skirt...mmmmmm not very appealing Renai.

but there was this scene where she was bathing in a river................OOOOOOOOOOOOO..and she was naked...WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..i nearly spit out my 7up when that scene came out.

but she was quite sexy la...hehe

however, Renai wasnt the best performer in the entire movie....actually, i think the person who acted BEST was the old native witch doctor in the long house.HAHAHAHAHA...yeaaaa! im honest!! altho , he didn't speak a word of english,nor mandarin...but he was veryyyyy natural. i wonder if hes brad pitt in a disguise...hmmmmm...


the little red ghost who kept on appearing and then disapear again with the high pitch "hehehheheh". i think i can make a better red ghost

OH! the speech in the movie consisted of a mixture of mandarin,english,iban and bm. yeap thats about it. so its good in the sense that it protrays sarawak correctly. we really do listen to a mixture of these few languages in our everyday lives. and the scenes shot in the long house was quite nice. it was really scenic!

i felt a little ashamed that being a sarawakian myself...i've yet to c all these places.

the movie isnt all that bad....well...if a movie manage to startle me 2/3 times...then ..umm..its not that bad rite? although i wasnt that impressed by the movie...we can't compare the legend of the red curse with hollywood movies that we r so accustomed to watch. hey! come on... those movies were filmed with advanced technologies and by professional actors and actresses....of cos they r incomparable.

credit goes to Bjarne Wong for having the guts and the determination to come out with our first ever movie. not everyone would have done that. me for one, woulndt like to fork out my own RM1 mil to produce a movie where you have to distribute discounted tickets just to attract people to come and watch your movie...hahaahah

all i have to say is....watch it if you feel curious on how the entire movie 'feels' like...but dont complain...that's all i have to say..haha

when the movie finished...i heard some wise guy saying "AIYERRR....pu hao kan de!!!" meaning....AIYERRR... not nice one!!! no comments!!! 'x' i think they should try making a movie of their own...lets see what they can produce.

What i found at my doorstep...

I've not been very productive at work 2day....hee.... shhhhhhhhhhhhh...i hope my boss doesnt blog 'x' i guess its just the weekend mood :P and to make things worst...i had quite a terrible headache in the afternoon and all i could do was just highglighting and unhighlighting the same line of code for about half an hour.

its just amazing how you can pass time by just doing that...hahaha..ok that was unfunny.

mmm....so when i reached home just now...hey de hoho.... i found a PARCEL on my doorstep! YIPPEEE! without even looking at the sender's name...i eagerly RIPPED open the plastic err...envelope or bag or watever. im lucky it didnt turn out to be a 'HELLO' present from one of the iraqi suicide bombers...or else i wont be here wont i?

when i opened it...no sheit! its my 2nd credit card in 1 mth...! hahaha..yea i did apply for it,but then i thought one shouldnt need tat many credit cards rite? mmm..oh well, since its free...

but this card is different from my previous one...its a .............................................GOLD CARD!!!
oh yes! im proud of it.... my very first gold card boh!! :P and it has tweety bird on it...hehehe


actually i applied this credit card solely for the cartoon character i can choose...i was quite proud of my new card tat i couldnt wait to show it to my mom

so much so for being a gold card...i should hv chosen batman instead of tweety bird..at least it would have some kinda professional look...but then,it wouldnt be a gold card then...it would have been a BLACK card...hmm... oh well..

and to make matters worst..my nephew was trying to fight with me over the card cos he thought it was a toy! oh boy~~ this is the last time im gonna get a cartoon character card... :

after a few rounds of "MAMI...u look at him!!!" and "POPO, u look at this AH GAL" i managed to snatch back my bookmark..erm..i mean my credit card. i wanted to quickly slip it inside my purse so that he wont c it .... however...

joy of all joys.... theres no space for my new credit card anymore! now...i will have to buy a new purse!! what a day!

My efforts so far

I've been taking some efforts in making my blog more....err........more..........blog like. hehe..i've been adding a counter... n i've been trying my very best to post at least a blog a day. but as you might have noticed, i've been a good little gal n instead of just ONE measly post, ive been writing 2/3 posts per day :)

my site counter is nothing to boast about...there's only 3 visitors so far *sob

and i've also signed up to adsense...hehehe...well, to be totally honest, i'm not putting any hopes in making a fortune with this adsense thingy...i'm just curious ok? :P
but if you wanna help me in saving enough to buy a car...by all means then! CLICK ON THE STUPID ADS...oops 'x' i hope google doesnt hear abt this..wahahaha

the other thing is...i'm quite ashamed of what i've done to this site considering me being a web developer and all. but i just can't bear to do a single line of coding after a whole day of coding. i know i know...my layout is nothing to boast about either, but i guess i will just have to make my lazy little fingers to type some code for my blog some time in the future. well, i will just have to put that under my lists of FUTURE updates..hehehe. let's just hope that i WILL get to it...sometime,someday :P

A Friendly Reminder

One of my pet peeves that I just couldnt find any reason to forget about are....people who forward back mails that you've forwarded to them earlier.

For goodness sake!!! read the sender's mail... i know you may be super famous and everyone wants to forward mails to you that you can't even bother to notice the sender's name. It is very irritating to find a mail with EXACTLY the same title as the one that i've just sent out few hours before and the WORST thing is your name is still there!!!

so u peeps out there...pls pls pls...DO NOT RE-FORWARD the same mail to the person who sent that forward mail to you! As for this friend of mine, i might as well forget about forwarding her any mails in the future...it is ARGHHHHHH...ANNOYING!!!! get it??

oh my...it doesnt sound too friendly isnt it?? hahaahha ...oh well...

Wonka Bar

hmm...i managed to get my hands on a Wonka Bar. and it was not an ordinary chocolate bar that you can buy from your local supermarket..its a well...a WONKA BAR!!! hahahah im sure most of you out there would have watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

and this wonka bar IS the wonka bar from the movie. well, its not exactly the same as that wonka bar that won charlie a golden ticket...but it IS called a wonka bar. i got it from my darling who got it from his colleague who got it from London who i assume got it from a shop....and bla bla bla..

on the wrapper,its written

WONKA:NUTTY CRUNCH SURPRISE. and the surprise is...real nutty taste, without tiny nuts.

before i even opened the wrapper, i thought it was a whole bunch of crap...but when i popped a piece into my mouth. it tasted like any other chocolate bar, but as part of it melted there was this tiny little round thing in my mouth which i thought was a nut initially.

but when i took it out and had a closer look at it...it didnt look anything like a nut. in actual fact, it looked like dog biscuit! hahahahaah ... i hope it isnt! gulp

well, it is a biscuit...HUMAN biscuit,i hope!

so i guess that explains the whole bunch of crap about being nutty without nuts and whatsoever.

oh! and if you've watched the movie or if you've read the book, you would have known about the 5 golden tickets thingy. but instead of winning a ticket to visit WONKA'S ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE FACTORY...this chocolate bar gives u the chance to visit some US chocolate factory of some sort...i dont know what.

the golden ticket of some sort is supposed to be inside the wrappers...but i have yet to see any shiny ticket in my bar up till now. im not interested to visit any chocolate factory either. im sure there wont b any oompa-loopas there...so who cares about those lousy golden tickets.

Blue monday...

This monday of all mondays is my bluest of all mondays. Usually i will only suffer from this dreadful gloominess of mondays when i've had an exceptionally good weekend.hahaha!

well in truth, i DID have a really nice and wonderful weekend with my darling. He came back for the weekends and we've had our filll of being together after being apart for so many weeks :) we've had the weekends to fill each other in on the details of what has been happening in our lives our work, our families over those few weeks...it was nice. we talked so much, i was almost out of breath..hahahaa

and it was nice to have someone hold your hands again when you are shopping or going out ... it has been a while since i have the chance to do that...and to have someone to hug and hold... :)
well, thats the wonder of having someone whom you love and who loves you back!

but, he's went to his place of work again on the earliest morning flight this morning. and here i am left all alone writing my blog. then again, things arent that bad isnt it? well, considering that he could be coming back again in a few weeks time...and we could spend some precious moments together again! mmmmmmm :)

The Wedding~~~

hahahaha...today i thought i might write about something mushy...its gonna be about my wedding! yup....u heard correctly, MUH wedding! hehehe...nahhh im not getting married anytime soon,but someday,somehow its gonna arrive wont it? (fingers crossed =S)

u c,last nite i had nothing better to do so i was just browsing all the blogs in blogspot.com and i came across a site that hosts music for you on your site.its called iWebMusic.com and its got quite a variety of nice songs that you can choose from. Initially, i wanted to have my site playing "There's gotta be more than life" by Stacie Orrico so that it gives my site that kind of LOUD n NOISY feeling u kno?

But my dear friend which is none other than Red Sponge complained that my site is too noisy, so being the agreeable, kind friend that i am ... i agreed to change my music. so there i was browsing here n there....and i came across this all time favourite of mine...CANON IN D by Pachelbel.

i really really love this song and i've vowed since i-can't-remember-when to use it as my wedding march on my lovely wedding day someday, sometime in the future...hehhhh

instead of using the ol' boring wedding march, i will use this one for sure!! well,provided that i can find a pianist and perhaps a band of other orchestra musicians to play this song as i gracefully (*puke*) walk down the aisle to meet my lovely lovely husband-to-be-in-less-than-1/2-an-hour.

then...as the song finally ends...i would want the musicians to proceed with only a brief pause with the hymn "Seek Ye First". yeaa...im gonna do that. in fact, both these songs seem to complement each other pretty well. there is already a compilation which is a combination of both of these songs. by so doing, i would have removed the awkward pause that i've so often seen in most weddings when the wedding march stops and the entrance hymn takes over. its just so weird..well,i hope you know wat i mean..hahahaha

then theres this other thing about the couples saying their wedding vows. I mean you don get married everyday do you? and your wedding is supposed to be one of the most meaningful day of your life so y should you be sticking your noses sooooo close to the wedding booklet when you read your vows instead of staring straight into your partner's eyes. thats the way its supposed to be isnt it? You are not marrying the booklet or the microphone which is being stuck rite up ur nose ... you r marrying each other!

sooo...like any other promise that you would have made throughout your courtship, you would make this most important promise of all by staring straight in his/her eye...it heightens your sincerity up a notch doesnt it? :) and no excuses such as ... i cant remember the exact words of the vows or i cant remember a thing when im nervous



For goodness sake...its your WEDDING, you could put in a little effort to memorise those few sentences rite??? that's where those long nites of memorising all those stupid dates and years from your history book comes in...hohoho..and you thought history 101 was useless!

what else is there that should be in my wedding...OH! flowers! pink roses with blue ribbons it shall be!! wahahahaha...and there shall be an arch! yeaa...!! an arch full of pink n blue roses!




and i would want my best gal friend

I bet most of you would have come across these really really annoying and disgusting and hateful INCONSIDERATE people.arghhh im getting angry just by describing them. These my dear friends, are those people who prefer not to dirty their useless a$$es by squating on top of the toilet seats....i repeat ON TOP of the toilet seats! nehh..do you know what i mean or not? here....here's a piece of illustration to help you understand:

9 .PEERS WHO ARE BEING A PAIN IN THE ASS BY BEING SO ATTACHED TO MY PARENTS

Well, call me selfish ... call me conservative! CALL ME ANYTHING YOU LIKE! but i really must say I HATE PEOPLE WHO TRY TO BE GOODY 2 SHOES WITH MY PARENTS!!!! they are MY ...parents ok? so get your hands off them..get ur own parents... for goodness sake! :P

you wont understand me if you've never met such people. well, they should be around the same age as you to add to the 'annoyingness level' and they should be the ones who always turn out at your house when you come back from work or when you come back from anywhere for that matter and they will sit there and talk and talk and talk from sunrise till dusk. Why???? you don have a house to go to isit?!?!?! always remember that there's this thing called giving others PRIVACY in their OWN house!

BOASTERS!!! HAH!!! one of the kinds that i hate most! this type of people should be quite common. they will usually go like this...

well...quite a lot has happened since the last time i wrote.for one thing...im now 22 years old!! YIPPEEE YAYY!

and another thing is...my dearest came back for my birthday ...DOUBLE YIPPEE YAY!!

it was really sweet of him...hahahaha....i felt all warm and nice when we went to the airport to meet him.it really is a nice feeling to see him again after those few weeks apart.hehehe...

well,we spent a rather nice weekend of togetherness...i felt all at the top of the world...but theres this nudging feeling at the back of my mind that keeps on reminding me that i shouldnt be too happy as he will still be going back to sibu today.

sighhh...

anyhow, i shouldnt be moaning at today when i could be looking forward to the next time i could see him isnt it? or perhaps the next time i hear his voice on the phone...hahahaha
sometimes...it is these times that we r apart which makes our relationship a new BOOST.

i've noticed that when we r together, things tend to be taken for granted. be it with him or me. i tend to get angry at little little things...and i may waste away our nite out with a silly argument over nothing and so on. but when we get together after being apart, its like every single second we spend together means much more.

i know this is silly....hahahaha but i was a tiny wee bit shy for the first few days when he came bck last weekend..lol...its like we r this one new couple who just started going out together...hahahahaha...its a rather nice feeling, but i find it weird how fast i get used to not being with some1 and how slow i get used to NOT being with some1... haahahah
ahhh...the ironies of life and love ;)

ahh ahhh....saturday nite is here at last and here i am ... lonely and bored...hahaha
i think i should take back my words tat i taught allen...i once told him that only 'su ku kia' (i.e IDIOTS) stay home on a saturday nite ...lol

wellll...at least i did go out for a dinner and some shopping..but theres not much shopping to be done with just rm10 in my purse anyway...oh well. i bought a box of green tea anyway...hoping to slim down ...wahahahah

hhmmmm...im just glad that a gal has got loving parents and loving sisters and not forgetting loving friends...love u all! *muaks* yea ... its true that my dearest is my soulmate and all ..but sometimes u need ur family and ur gal frens at times like these. they are the ppl who brought me out shopping and for dinner and lunches...ohhh if not for these lovely people, my days would be even more miserable

its all his fault, if you hadnt asked me whether or not i missed you, i would have managed to pull through a whole day without any tears...ahhh n to think it was only 0ur first day apart and already ive shed tears...grrr its an embarassment! :(

well well...at least the bz day at work this morning did do some trick in helping me get my mind off it. my day started off pretty 'WELL'. to start things off, there was this training for the users without any notification to us developers and oh wow...did our system perform 'impressively'! o_O

at least hv the courtesy to tell us that theres gonna be a training...oh gawd!! the training version of our system was already in shambles and there it is....around 20-30 users using it at the same time! u couldnt blame it for displaying so many bugs, u kno??? hehe

and the other thing was this bugger of a client who kept on pestering us for changes and more changes everyday! come on... we r only human. i doubt she can do it anyway, so much for being oh so experienced in IT...NOT! (i hope she doesnt blog...)

HIE! as promised, i will continue the blog that ive attempted to complete last nite .. hehe.
now where was i....ohhh...kch fest was ok ..altho it was blahdi HOT!!! i had fried ice cream...MMmMmMmM and little bites of taiwan sausage from my dear sis who so kindly brought her little lonely sister to kch fest...wahahaha.

and it was quite amazing that i really felt better after going there! HONEST! i dont understand it either...could it be the laughters i've shared with my sister or could it be the yummy chevrolet spark on display there ..SLURP
either way...im glad it has made me a happier girl..hehe

and surprisingly, my good jabs survived till now...i no longer feel lonely n near to tears when i think of my dearest..hehehe... :) thats good isnt it?

hhmm...wat else happend ytd...OH! ytd...some1 made me skip my diet on yoghurt and oatmeal biscuits for lunch.hehehe...well, im glad she so kindly offered me...im really grateful to pei-pei for being such a dear friend. she n her sweet bf offered to bring me to mcd's on the promise of a HAPPY MEAL for me. but even without the happy meal...im oredi HAPPY.. LOL!

however, upon my reaching my office...i saw my yoghurt sulking n pouting in a corner
here...i managed to take a photo of her ... errrrrrrrrr or HIM? who knows?




sigh...i could do nothing else but to stick his (oops) his/her sulking tub into my bag

ya ya .. i know i've already made an entry today...but i just couldnt help but say that blogging really has made me feel better.

well...i kno, he is supposed to be my soulmate and all that and i should tell him everything without any reservations. but, i think it woulndt be proper confiding in someone who needs to concentrate on his job rite now with all my unavoidable sadness and emptiness within me right now.

writing in this blog sure have made my day brighter... thanks bloggie and whoeever it is who is listening.... umm or rather ... reading out there ;)

I dont know if any of you could have noticed it, but i've been walking around the whole day with a very heavy heart. He has finally left for Sibu after my weeks of emotional preparation for this :)

well, overall, i gez i did pretty well...no tears ... YET..hahaha. well to any of you out there, if there ever was a need for ur loved ones to go elsewhere for quite some time, my advice to you is....DO NOT SEND HIM/HER OFF AT THE AIRPORT.

haahahah trust me! for the safety of your emotions ... do not do that! it will wreak havoc to your day.. LOL! this time, i didnt manage to send him off cos the flight was soooo early this morning. compared to the last time he left, i was more emotionally stable this time...hehehe

however, i still get this weird, umm...ticklish ...feeling in my heart whenever i think of him :P
isit love sick???hahahahaha

oh well..enough abt this stuff, or some1 *ahem* will start to say that all i ever talk about in my blog is abt my dearest...hehehehe

i just managed to download a Yahoo game called Tradewinds. its pretty cool, reminds me of harvest moon....where u do all the buying and selling and u get to earn some money and then u can expand ur properties and buy more n more ship. oh ya, it also reminds me of Monkey Island, yup pretty much reminds me of that.

But its really getting to my nerves how i would need to search for the stupid crack in order to play the game for more than 60 min! *groan*

i've also tried my hands on knitting...and GOSH!! is it hard!! sigh...i just couldnt get the hang of it...oh nooo..i musnt go back on my words..I MUST I MUST learn how to knit :(

Gloomy Days

For the past 3 mornings,i've been greeted by a feeling of gloominess and dread the minute I woke up from bed. I've always dread for Mondays to come (as always) but not as much as this week's Monday.

Oh..I wish that the weekend would never pass but that is impossible isnt it ? unless i could do some magic like Harry Potter...wahahaha

Oh well...dread as i may, it will still happen and a new beginning it shall be. Our relationship for the past 1 year or so seems to be like a story book. It is marked by chapters of new stories, new lifestyles, new experiences everyday. and with the turn of every chapter, a new lesson is to be learnt as we get closer to the next chapter and the next and the next... and many more chapters i hope :)

ohh...and i HATE the song "I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane" !!... for some obvious reasons...hahaha

well...here goes...my very first post in my very new blog. this is not exactly my first blog actually, but my first one doesnt keep me quite anonymous actually, so i've decided to create a new blog. i feel much more comfortable being anonymous...i can write anything i want without caring that so n so might read about her and i will end up with no friends at all. but then again, it all depends, i might one day reveal my blog to few of my closer friends...well, what fun's a blog if no one reads it rite?

tonite...i think i will make my very own time table to fill up my time in the next few weeks or maybe months. time is running short and i should make the most out of these 4 days before he leaves. hahaha...how i wish we ladies wont be so emotional at times. then, i would be able to act tough and perhaps spend my every waking hour playing games or summat and i wouldnt even realised he's not by my side??? well....that's just how we ladies are created arent we? we...the sensitive , feeling creature.

thats how God makes sure our children and our husband will be taken care well of, we can empathise, and we can feel ... but im not saying guys wont make good parents.... omg ..wat am i talking about...this is going nowhere...so much for my first blog .. *sigh*

ok then...i will cut the crap n go to the thing that ive wanted to do the whole day...a timetable for meself to busy up my hours. there's this list of stuffs that ive been raring to do but which ive pushed to the back of my mind so that i could spend some extra time with him (omg..i sound desperate)...

1. Build the Victorian Doll House which was supposed to be my Christmas present and was supposed to be completed months ago but unfortunately is still in its box now which is fast gathering dust.
2. Paint it PINK!!! ... or mebe not
3. make some innee weeny furnitures for my doll house from God-knows-wat
4. Maybe.... just maybe....install some mini lightings for my doll house and keeping my fingers cross i don burn down the hopefully-completed-doll-house
5. ok..wells thats enough about doll houses...wat else........ OHHHHH.. complete my knitting! hahahaha...i still cant get the hang of it. it is reallly complicated (well,at least to me) and i've been visiting knitting web sites now n then during work hours (shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) but i will try...hehe
6. Play yahoo games ... oh YES!
7. OH!... strengthen my musical talents...*ahem* my musical theory book is also gathering dust in my book rack.the dust is so thick, it will make every1 in the neighbourhood cough if i try to dust it off :D i hope i still remember how to draw a quaver, and a err.... a.........a crotchet? is that it? and i thought it was a knitting term...wahahah...now u kno i really need revision on my musical theory
8. Learn mandarin. aaaahhhh...mandarin....ive been getting short lectures by someone.............hmmm...on not being able to write chinese characters what with me being a chinese and all. its not my fault isit??? :P
9. and... I WANNA MAKE POM POMS ... yayyy!!! just in case you dont know whats a pom pom ...
