brought along my 99cents bubble solution
blew small bubbles...
and big bubbles...
and some went into my mouth bcos of the wind blowing back at my face :(
but it was a lot of fun...who knew 99 cents would create so much fun :P

Roast Chicken
anyway...let me just finish posting this very outdated post before it starts to act up again...
so there i was few lunch breaks ago in a pet shop looking at cute cute puppies :)
here's 2 very naughty and playful puppies who tried to show off to me by pulling on the apron string...
and there's this white dog that sat on a chair without moving for so long that i thought it was a fake dog
such a good dog...my dog would never sit still :(
and i bought this great looking treats for my 2 doggies...hehehe
looks like the real thing or not???
dont ask me whether it tastes good or not cos i dont know! but since the 2 of them gobbled it up within a few hours i presume it should be quite nice lah
and at rm2.15 a piece it better be nice!

My First Bento Set
can see clearly or not???
nah close up...
this is supposed to be a bear shaped egg but the egg i used were too small, so no ears for mr bear here...kekeke
and my cute little no-ear rabbit :)
love the rabbit the best!
and i made tulip shaped sausages too
and my first bento set in a not-s0-bento container :(
pretty easy to make with the egg molds and weiner cutter taht i bought few weeks ago
the first time i tried to shape the eggs and sausages i werent successful bcos the trick is to put the egg upright in the mould before you close it and for the sausage, the thing is to shape it with the cutter B4 you cook/fry it...i did the other way round the first time =_=
bought these bento accessories from Little Bazaar , nice seller and efficient service...recommended! :)
these cute little bento sets are nice to make and a pleasure to eat...for those newly weds, wifies ah, can make these cute bento for your hubbies to bring to work since everythign is so expensive nowaday...hahahaha
and taking this opportunity to wish Yientau and Stef a happy happy wedding...and the beginning of a wonderful life together!
sekian! :)

Country Quiche
This time i made country quiche again from the Agnes Chang book...lemme show u lai...
this book costed me RM28 and it is really worth every cent, cos all the recipes seem easy enough and looks nice enough...sure jadi wan 'x'
I really love making pastries more than cakes now...maybe bcos of the dough
it is quite fun to knead and shape the dough like Play Doh...
but u don worry ok...i got wash my hands and wash under my nails wan before i knead...and i don wear rings...and erm i don go to toilet before i started =x
the filling...
chicken sausage + green peas + onion + egg & milk mixture...
put the skin into a pan and you pour in the mixture...
and bake....and then this comes out..
not bad lah ho???quick! say not bad!

Silhouette at The Spring
I blame it on the location of the restaurant, cos it is quite hidden. The entrance is located outside of the mall....
We've walked past the place a few times but we never went in cos the place looks very expensive and posh...so we thought it must be a very 'atas' place lah...
The interior is very stylishly designed and there shelves upon shelves of wine for you to order from there...
One thing i do not really like about the place is, the dining area is adjoined to another area which smells and sounds to me like a pub...hahaha...i did not go n peep into that area but i can hear loud music and smoke...so i assume it to be some sorta pub place 'x'
i must say the food there is not REALLY REALLY expensive....for instance this bolognese is around RM20++
I dont know the price bcos this wasnt ours 'x'
We ordered fettucini carbonara and they brough this to our table, he told me isnt carbonara supposed to be the creamy white sauce? i said yes...but proceed on to take a photo of it anyway! wahahaha...after a while, the waitress realized her mistake and took it away from us...
ahhh...this is ours...
priced at RM21...i think its a passable carbonara with creamy enough sauce but someone said the cream is not enough :P
and we ordered the thin crust pizza with seafood toppings...(RM26)
I personally didnt like this very much cos its too 'seafood-y'...lolbut its ok ... but i still like Bella Italia's thin crust pizza...mama mia!

Double Choco Yoghurt Muffin & Sio Pau
First the double choco yoghurt muffin...which doesnt look very appetizing i must say :(
i got it from Baking Mum but mine was a little too hard :(
perhaps i didnt put enough milk........
on the 2nd day of the holiday i made some sio pau with chicken filling...but as u can see...the surface was too rough...haahahah
but its still edible and i think it smells quite good =)
but i wasnt quite satisfied with it, and i dont think i will make another batch for a while as it is very time consuming X(
i got the recipe from Agnes Chang's recipe book...and yes i finally bought it instead of stealthily taking pictures of the recipe with my phone at the bookstore
at rm28, i think its a good buy with lots of nice recipes...
next, i plan to make quiche or chicken pie...mwehehe...
ive been asked so many times why the sudden interest in baking...churning up so many baked goods in such a short time...i tell u hor, baking is very addictive wan...once you start u cannot stop...i also dont understand why la...or maybe i m turning into an auntie already...yipes!

'Go-Kaki' Chicken Rice
But it was certainly a very different experience of buying chicken rice. The tauke has several pots there which he will open up one by one for you to choose. There's chicken and pork :P
To be honest, it wasnt that good...wahahaha
but it is a special experience ;)
Ready for iLASIK?
With 2 lasers involved, the procedure is exceptionally safe. First, a wave front technology maps the individual characteristics of your eye, then an ultra fast laser guided by a computer creates a corneal flap. In previous generation LASIK technology, this process was done by a hand held blade. When the flap has been created, the wave front mapping data guides a second laser for vision correction. With the advanced use of these 2 lasers, iLASIK is safe and provides excellent visual results.
Today NASA and the US military are increasing the vision power of their personnel through LASIK for over 5 years already. The DOD and NASA have confirmed that today's LASIK is safe and effective. Some survey done in 100 military personnel showed that 95% achieved 20/20 uncorrected vision or better. 100% of the naval aviators who have gone though the procedure said they would recommend it to other naval aviators. With the emergence of modern technologies, LASIK procedure is growing increasingly safer. For more
