Let me give you a scenario...

We shan't use REAL names ok? :)

Lets say Car Manufacturer A and B are rival companies producing cars from almost the same price range and style...

So lets say i went to Car Manufacturer B to look at B brand cars of cos...

So i went there and there were two salesmen selling B cars...Salesman #1 arrives at the showroom driving car of BRAND A!! O_O

ok..fine....

but then i saw ANOTHER car of BRAND A parked at the showroom...and Salesman #1 even had the nerve to say that that car belongs to Salesman #2...

What is this huh???

Brand B salesmen using Brand A cars themselves??

After that i really lost confidence in Brand B cars cos even the salesperson prefers cars from its rival manufacturer..MUAHAHAHA~

so lame ...

Moral of the story: Only trust a salesperson when they use they are the user of their own product :)

Three Things..

I consider myself a fussy eater...not in the sense that i m picky...well, altho i m picky to some extend...but fussy in the sense that there are certain things that just CANNOT be tolerated at all when im eating..mwehehehe

i was discussing these 3 things with someone just now...and i thought these could be blog-worthy material ..so here you go :)

1. No insects whatsoever in my food!!! : someone...*cough cough* someone lor...found 2 cockroach legs in her food during lunch just now ... by the time she manage to discover the 'extras' in her food,she had already finished everything up ...tsk tsk tsk...and she still had the nerve to tell me that cockroach might have some beneficial properties such as preventing cancer,etc etc....i really wanto bok her head! *khik* cockroaches are dirty things...there are my biggest HATE in the world!!!muahahaahah...they eat shid 'x' lol and certainly cannot be IN my food! i would have puked out all my lunch if i were her..kekeke
2. No 'dirty' coins : WAHAHAHA...those who have been out eating lunch with me would have noticed that i do not keep those dirty,black,fungus-grown coins in my purse!! YEARGHHHH i wanna puke when i see those coins! some are really sooo black that you could not even make out the writings on the coin..PUKE! i know some people dont mind dirty coins but not only do i not accept dirty coins but i do not want to see them lying around on the table while im having my meal...HEEE..fussy or not? :P
3. HAIR!!!!!!!!! : ewww...once i was soooo hungry during lunch time that i just gobbled up my fried rice and upon my 4th or 5th mouthfuls...i saw a strand of HAIR!!! yearghhh...to some people a strand of hair might not be a big deal rite?? its after all just hair ma....but i can pick up n throw away the hair...and continue eating 1/2 spoonfuls and my imagination would take control....i would start to wonder...DID THE OWNER OF THE HAIR WASH HIS/HER HAIR 2DAY?WHAT IF HE/SHE HAS OILY YUCKY HAIR?WHAT IF HE/SHE HAS DANDRUFF? lol lol...by then i would have lost all my appetite :( however, the worst worst case would be to find a *cough* 'curly' hair in my food!WAHAHAHA..let your imagination run wild~

So if you are broke in the middle of the month...come have lunch with me...i m sure you will be a few cent richer if im 'lucky' enough to get dirty yucky coins ...kekeke

Blooming Flowers

I was pleasantly surprised when i opened my front gates this morning...

My mom's row of flowers suddenly chose to BLOOM all at the same time!!!

I m not usually a flower person and i m definitely not good in gardening...and my mom was quite worried about leaving her precious flowers with me when they went travelling for 2 weeks...

did some reminiscing today.........

went back to my alma mater for food fair today!! mwehehehe...



i know its weird...but i've always looked fwd to going for the annual food fair every year since i've graduated...its so nice to meet ex lecturers and perhaps meet some friends...

but this yr..it felt so empty and unfamiliar...

i did not even see a single familiar face....and i did not even see my ex lecturers...or maybe.. ermmm...i was a little late lar..MUAHAHAHA

the corridors which was supposed to be packed with people and stuffs to buy were empty when i went there...boohooohooo ...

so i just had to chin chai buy 2 cans of soft drinks and 3 packets of indonesian emping :P



hen ke lian ohhh...but better than nothing rite???

i guess our time has gone...i see the excitement we've felt when we visited the food fair as students years back in the faces of the students i saw this afternoon...

they are living the life which we've lived in those days...

and i m now living a life which i have admired from afar when i was a student...but which i do not think is all that great and mighty now as a working adult :
and instead of going to the fair with tonnes of friends around me...i was ALONE....

boohoohoooo...i had to do my reminiscing alone.... :(

my time has really gone :P

As a lesson for being late n going home with stuffs which i could have done without...we had to have lunch at pizza hut~~~

Thanks to little-mama, i knew about this new recipe...never heard of it before until i read it from her post.its actually fried eggs with mayonnaise. the mayonnaise is inside the egg ...so its an egg roll!

hehehe...u noticed i only make ONE roll hoh???

while little mama made several big long rolls.. kekeke...and can u see the small little pieces on the plate??wahahaha those are the pieces that i accidentally tore off from the original piece when i tried to roll it up..kekeke..

Its a nice new recipe...but instead of using pepper and salt...i added in some milk to make it more creamy :P

Approaching Friday

Its another friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesnt time really really flies??? :P

Ok let me show you what i m going to have for lunch 2moro...

Kekekeke...i know its not friday yet....but how come i could show you what i m going to have for lunch???

Well thats simple....cos i almost always (or perhaps always!) have the same lunch on fridays :P

That's cos....by friday, we've run out of creative juices to think of where to lunch and so we always ended up at mc donald's....kekeke...nahh...thats not the actual reason...

The REAL reason is because ... we don take RED MEAT on fridays...!

Surprising??? or well..maybe not for some people...

You see..im a catholic...and catholics dont take red meat on fridays...

Well at least some devout *cough cough* catholics DO abstain from meat ^_^

Its your own personal choice la i guess...so we can only have seafood and vege on fridays....(cos seafood is not red meat wat)

And its FILLET O FISH for us!!! :)




And there's one thing about fridays that i've wanted to blog about for quite a while already...

I've noticed something...

from Monday to Thursday...if i leave for home after 5.45pm, the jam becomes less heavy than when i set out at 5.30pm...

But then horrr...if i leave after 5.45 on a FRIDAY...it seems that the traffic is even heavier than usual!!!!



How come leh?!!?? *throws up hands in exasperation*

It could only mean :-

1. People leave work later on fridays because they have been going home earlier from monday-thurs and they have no choice but to stay back and finish their work
2. They suddenly miss their cubes cos they realised they would not be seeing their work station until the following monday

I dont know...

For me...i am always so excited to leave for home on fridays cos...its the beginning of the WEEKENDS!! =)

Why would people stay back extra late on fridays??? *scratch head* let's figure this out...ideas and opinions most welcomed..mwehehehe...

Home Econ

Last nite Chen was joking to me about sending my supper to her since she also wanted a bite of whatever i was having (*whisper* so greedy hoh? 'x')

And she was laughing that sure it would have become bad by the time it reaches Penang...

Which brings me to tonight's story....

Hee....this happened ... hmmmm lets see........ when i was in Form 2 ... ermm 9 years ago lo! =)

That time all of us ladies took home economics class and each week, we would cook something new in school and after that we can bring home some

So...that week we were supposed to cook MUTTON CURRY...mMmMM nice rite??

HEHEHE...so we all brought empty containers on that day to bring back some of the curry lor..

And everyone in my family was eager to taste my curry :)

So we cooked and cooked and cooked...and ta daaaa..manage to produce a pot of EDIBLE mutton curry..muahahahahaha...

Quickly ladled some into my container and happily brought back the container to my class...

I put it in my desk drawer and eagerly waited for the last bell to ring

Last bell rung...and i walked out and jumped into my car and when i reached home and saw the excited waiting faces of my sisters....OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My curry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still in my desk drawer!!!

MUAHAHAAHAHHA...and did i forget to mention that it was a FRIDAY???

LOL!!! that means i will have to wait till Monday to be able to get the container...

Come monday...i was armed with a big BLACK plastic bag...and once i reached my place....i immediately threw the container into the plastic bag without even daring to look at it!!

KEKEKEKEKE...well you can imagine how curry would smell like when it has been left un-refrigerated in humid malaysian weather...WAHAHAAHA

I never told my classmates about it...and it was a lucky thing the foul smell never did manage to escape from my big black plastic bag...or else, they might have thought i've murdered something :)

Dim Sum Brunch

Went to Tsui Hua Lau Restaurant for dim sum brunch with my parents on Sunday morning...

This is my second time there on a sunday morning and it has always been packed on both occasions....and i really love their dim sum too!

Being tasty is not all...but they r really really reasonably priced too!

Each basket priced at only RM2 ... it wont get any cheaper than this!

And if dim sum doesnt suit your taste buds, there are also a wide variety of rice dishes,noodle,porridge,soup,etc

Lor ma kai~~!!! MMmMmm...nice!!! fresh succulent pieces of chicken inside the lor ma kai!

***corrections: hee...i was told by chen and may that these are not lor ma ka...its hor yip fan! i learned something new today...wrapped in leaf then its hor yip fan...not wrapped with anything (naked) ...its lor ma kai....muuu how come my mama always told me its lor ma kai...shud go n correct her later on..muahaha


Har kau and siew mai..

I must say the service is really good too!... Cos there was some tiny foreign object in my glass and i was trying to wipe it with a tissue paper when the waiter saw me and promptly asked me if i wanted to have my water replaced!

Its rather rare to see well mannered waiters and waitresses nowadays considering that Malaysians ranked among the lowest in courtesy...MUAHAHAHA...

After having a satisfying brunch, i went to the counter to pay...the cashier told me its RM30.90 for everything (4 baskets of dim sum,one bowl of porridge,one wanton noodle and one chicken rice)

I didnt give the bill much thought until much later when we were in the car that my mom started to ask me hwo much is per basket of dim sum??

I was err errr...counting counting and i realisd...i might have pay much more than needed~~

My mom went down with my receipt to clear the air and guess what???

She came back with an additional RM9.98 !!!

It seems that they have attached another table's order of dim sum to our bill....$#@%*&

I wasnt ready to treat a bunch of strangers their brunch!!!! LOL...thanks to my mom, i became rm9.98 richer that day~ mUAHAHAHAHAHA

And needless to say... i had to listen to a lecture on how i would have been charged an extra rm9.98 for nothing if it wasnt for her....

But it was worth every single cent of the rm9.98 ;)

p/s i would have taken a photo of the receipt and posted it up here if it werent for the fact that i just used the receipt to wipe off squashed mosquitoes from my hands just now! pesky mosquitoes leh!..who ask them to fly around my face while i was driving >-)

Performer of the Night

**Updates: hee..seems that i've forgotten to xplain where is SCOOPS...i think ive assumed that most kuchingites knew about this place already :P

well....its just opposite the main entrance of hilton!...must take note ar..the main entrance ...not the left or right entrance or the back door...mwehehehee...happy searching ;)

Went to Miracle8's charity concert organised by the Chung Hua Middle School NO 3 Choir i suppose??



Heehee..so sorry Miracle8 i m definitely a lousy 'banana' i could hardly understand all the mandarin being spoken and sung throughout the whole nite.



My only consolation being the BEAUTIFUL music played by none other than our dear Miracle8!



We were impressed with her playing and i was in awe...mwehehehe...

To tell you the truth....i have been an 'alang-alang' musician all these while...i play a little bit of piano,play a little bit of the rhythm guitar,play a little bit of the bass guitar ...so you see im what they call PUA THAN SAI (half tank of shid) ...KEKEKEKE

So i was really admiring Miracle8 the whole night lor...kekekeek

I had recorded a video of Miracle8's performance but it was so shaky lar...hee...and its a little like watching the pirated vcds recorded in the cinema...heads moving about,ppl coughing,HEHEEHE...those interested could perhaps get the recording from me lor ;)

TA DAAAA...there were around 12 varieties of flavors to choose from ranging from Pistachio,green tea,black chocolate,chocolate,strawberry,rapsberry,rochor,blablabla..cannot remember... :P

They serve a variety of desserts such as waffles,cakes,and of course gellatos in cones or if you dont want the cones ... you could opt for only the gellato...

Single scoop priced at RM5, Double scoop at RM8,Triple Scoop at RM12...oklar....

Which is why i just didnt talk to she-who-must-not-be-named while i was eating it...in a hurry to finish it lar...my hands were all sticky with the black chocolate when i've finished it...

Cough Syrup Comic

Still remember me showing the bottle of cough syrup i just bought last nite??

Selba you are right, it is CAP IBU DAN ANAK :)



And tonight i m going to talk about this very cough syrup ....hehehe

You know ??? this cough syrup has been around since as long as i could remember!

When i was little ... i really loved this cough syrup because its sweett and tastes no different than candy but best of all...it came with cartoon drawings!



I guess i was just really attracted by its vibrant colors...


Whenever there's a bottle of this cough syrup at home...the little leaflet will of course be mine..MUAHAHAHA...

But then...it was only last nite that when i looked at the drawings properly and realised that....the drawings were a little ambiguous! or perhaps very ambiguous...

So i've decided to solve these mystery drawings once and for all and try to decode them here...its THE COUGH SYRUP CODE ...mwehehehe

If you take this cough syrup, you will be able to sing beautifully and not only that! you will be beautiful too 'x' like this lady lor...

If you have adam's apple...pls take this cough syrup too! i know its very unsightly...don show me that kind of face

heeheehee..this one is cute...i guess it means...if you r angry...this cough syrup will do you good...for any whatsoever reasons that you may like
