heheheeh i poke a knife into the shell thru the opening and once they sensed that something is touching them...they will immediately clam up (pun intended)
so if the knife's in there they wont be able to full close up...WAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!...

be it cockles on the char koay teow, or cockles lok lok, or kerang rebus.. i hampalang sapu.
Of course not the too raw or bloody wan lah.. i dun dare to consume those partially cook wan, cos can get food poisoning :P
