Fuhhh...we had good fun this year ...thanks to my joker of a nephew...WAHAHAHA
Apart from walking around with lanterns...well we were the only 2 who walked around with lanterns in my household lar...cos we r both the youngest ma :( even tho im 23 already...kekekeke..i m still the second YOUNGEST! =)
And of cos EATING MOONCAKES!
This year, i gez the hype is about the CHERRY BLOSSOM mooncakes ...supposedly mooncakes made from ...well cherry blossoms lor...
but we didnt see any signs of cherry in it...
and i thought these 2 layered mooncakes seem pretty cute so i took some picture of it ...
And with those REALLY sweet mooncakes...there should be tea...
HEHEHE...we brought out our mooncakes and tea to eat in the garden :)
And to admire the hazey moon...WANNA SEE THE MOON???

We had a good laugh 2nite with my nephew...playing silly little games like...WHO CAN KEEP QUIET FOR THE LONGEST TIME? or WHO CAN STARE AT EACH OTHER WITHOUT BLINKING YOUR EYES FOR THE LONGEST TIME? ....kekekekeke...i guess we mislead him into the real meaning of moon cake festivals...
He is supposed to be bringing his lanterns and to do the customary walk round and round the neighbourhood ... but since we were all too shy to do that...standing outside our gates with a lantern in hand will just have to do

The baby pink one is definitely mine....i think i've had this lantern since 3/4 years ago..MUAHAHAHHA that was the last time i bought a lantern for myself :)
But as usual...my kiasu-ness got the better of me and i just had to use THIS lantern....
MUAHAHHAHHAHAHA

Oh my, I feel really outdated with the oh-so-many mooncakes in Malaysia nowadays.
My sister-in-law was telling me the neighborhood in place where my family is staying are having cookout party. Every family cook and gather in the park to eat together. Wah~~~ I want too!
