Level Up

I was on a seminar during the weekend on Emotional Intelligence or more commonly called EQ

I was very inspired and very enlightened during the 2 days seminar as i never thought EQ could be that important and practical both in the workplace and in my personal life

hehehe as we went through the course materials, i began to have ideas of who should come and attend the EQ seminar...

anyway it was very interesting with lots of fun activities like this....

where we are supposed to pass around our piece of paper with a picture of our room and each person would add one item into your room

and of cos i made several new friends =)

but best of all...we were treated like kings and queens...wahaha

water ready on your desk every morning and after lunch...

2 tea breaks and 1 good lunch everyday....thats the life!

i have been trying to practise the stuff i came across during the course in my daily life for 2 days now...

lets see how long i can last...wahaha

Downloaded the MyStyle mobile coupon for RM3.50 which entitles us to buy 1 and get 1 free fish and chips at Manhattan Fish Market!

The unfortunate thing is that...each mobile number can only download it once a year!

So you might want to consider buying new mobile numbers everytime you crave for f&c....

nah that's stupid...

i just absolutely love the chilli,garlic and err...isit tartar sauce or mayonnaise...

but dont overdo on the garlic...make sure you avoid anyone you know and most important of all...avoid talking too much after the dinner...you just might kill someone

we ordered only one glass of bottomless drink

its bottomless what...i think its senseless to be ordering 2 cups of bottomless drinks...the most we can drink is only 2 cups mah!...hehe...did i hear someone say CHEAP SKATES?

fyi, it costs RM5.90 per glass...thats twice the price of the actual drink ...LOL

and we ordered butter garlic mussel...

there were 5 mussels and the sauce.........mmmmMmmMM =)

comes with baguette...nice and fluffy...i like!

ahh here comes the fish and chips..before that...let me tell you about how the waiters and waitresses treated us when we showed them the mobile coupon

first, we showed it to the clueless guy taking our order and he said ERR LEMME CHECK...and he called out to his colleague who came and discussed it right next to us =_=

*mumble mumble mumble* and came n asked whether he could copy down the ref num of the mobile coupon......

by all means we replied...so he said he will check on it...

few mins went by...you could see my face turning red...the last thing i wanted when eating on a buy 1 free 1 coupon is unwanted attention!!! LOL

after a while...another lady who i presume to be their supervisor or sth cos she seemed more experienced came and asked whether we have our orders taken already...we said NO...YOUR COLLEAGUES ARE STILL CHECKING ON OUR MOBILE COUPON!

she said can i take a look at it? and she jot down the ref num and said its ok you can place your order now i will check on the validity while you are hving your dinner...

now thats better! so while she was taking our orders the first guy came and said YAH! YOU CAN HV BUY 1 FREE !...

ok anyhoo...the fish n chips came out ok....love it to bits...crispy and crunchy and flavorful! im sure going back for more.................... without the buy 1 free 1 coupon =_=

Violent Workbook

wOOt!

went back to my mandarin class after almost 3 weeks of holiday (2 weeks declared school holiday and 2 days self-declared holiday)

My first chinese esssay ;)

So we were given photocopied exercises to do...arrange the pictures with a short description according to the correct order and so on and so forth lah!

then i came across a picture that doesnt seem so right...

hmmmmmm

it was about this stupid boy who ate too much and he became sick and PUKED a whole lot of stuff in bed...

can you see that??? lemme zoom in for you...

i bet there's carrots, watermelon, rice, cereal, vege and meat inside...

arghhhhhhh there goes my overactive imagination again!

looking at the pic in class made me LOL-ed...it is quite disturbing actually...

Bought these 2 cute pandas the other day =)

One girl panda and one boy panda....

for now, i keep the pink panda and he keeps the blue panda until....???

Rakutei Japanese Restaurant

We were at Rakutei Japanese Restaurant @ Crown Square last saturday...

I think it's a pretty new establishment...and we've heard of positive feedbacks from some friends who have been there before...

they are having a promotion now...if you spend RM50 and above, you get the privilege card for free. The card entitles you to 10% discount at the restaurant :P

love the nice little presentation of the wasabi :P

i really like salmon sashimi...fresh and slurpy!

here's my tempura bento set...it comes with miso soup and rice...

2 huge prawns!!!! juicy and succulent! :P

only RM16.90...i might get the price wrong but its certainly not more than RM18 ...hehe

as they uses egg tofu instead of the normal tofu...i lap it!

his chicken teriyaki set ...

i think it was around RM14.90...oops i m a lousy blogger 'x'

so by now you could tell we were pretty satisfied with the restaurant...they have very friendly waitresses and not to mention cute...well not that i m interested lah!!!..just to attract some of you guys out there...and the place is really nice...i like the ambience

so that's that...and this is not a paid post =_=

Advertise on Socialspark!

I guess most bloggers at one point or another would have actually blogged about a product...or a service or maybe a restaurant. If you are happy with a product, you give good reviews about it and you write about it in your blog. Why is it good or why is it bad.

The Search for Mary Shannon

Have you heard of USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight? It is crime drama starring Mary McCormack as Mary Shannon who is a U.S. Marshal attached to the Federal Witness Protection Program (WITSEC). Her job is to protect witnesses to crime or murder and because of the nature of her job, her job is a secret even to her closest members of the family!

My Version of Oreo Cheesecake

During the long weekends...i suddenly had the urge to make a cake...

I received a fwd email few weeks ago on how to make a chilled oreo cheesecake...no baking required....

So i thought to myself how difficult can a chilled cheesecake be? 'x'

bought the ingredients...

a stick of butter, a tub of whipped cream and 1kg of cream cheese!!!!...i'll need 100 push ups to burn up all the fat

couldnt find oreo at Choice Premier...how could that be!!! so had to make do with ....

i guess its still the same la...only cheaper =x

first, remove all the cream filling from the cookies...

this is heartbreaking to do....
look at all the creamy goodness...thrown away into the dustbin

pound the cookies into powder to make the base for the cake...

sorry...no more pics after this cos my hands were all dirty with the pounding and mixing...

What is your style?

I don't know about you guys but i just absolutely love Jessica Alba's dressing style. She can be elegant and at times she could even be sporty in her working out outfit. Of course, her beauty adds an extra edge to her dressing style. She do not need to don any 'barely there' outfit to make people go ga-ga over her! That is what i call a true fashion icon.

As for me, i just love outfits that are simple. Since i do not have a runway model figure, i rely on my outfits to bring out the best feature in me. Casual is most often than not my style. Therefore, i always rely on that good pair of pants that will never go wrong in whatever occasion. Being comfortable is of course an extra point...like Dockers!

Pair Dockers with a spaghetti strap and wow the world in style and comfort! Better still, why not parade a Dockers in your favourite style and make a tv commercial out of it! Submit it to the Dockers contest and you might even be on your way to the road of fame as a tv commercial director! Don't waste anymore time! Take out your camera and start shooting for the Dockers contest!

i have been looking for a calculator for a while to erm...calculate....the rising petrol price?yes yes...i think thats it...

and this very pink calculator caught my attention...and a bargain at RM7.99 ^_^
