ahh...things are getting better again...its raining rather heavily now and its gonna be WEDNESDAY 2moro! yay!!!... 3 more torturous days to go....wahahaha

well..sorry to say i have no pics to share with y'all today...hmmm my bluetooth adapter is at someone's house and i cant copy out the pics from my phone :(

oh btw...do you know? kuching is full of idiotic drivers!! arghhh..drives me up the wall

especially those who cut the queue! IDIOTS!!!!

I wonder what makes them think that they are superior enough to jump the queue!!...ggrrr...why, just now when we were all queueing up at the traffic light, thres this idiotic driver who drove from a few cars behind me right to the front and as a result!! i had to wait till the next green light b4 i could get thru!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

ok ok ... cool cool... i guess driving in kuching, you are just bound to meet one or 2 of those idiots...ahhhhh....

well another thing i noticed during my drive home is.......well... pls pls pls do not do something embarrassing like digging your nose while you are waiting at a traffic light!..hahahaaha

Just now the 'auntie' in the car behind me was digging her nose away...! oh my digging oh-so-vigorously and thinking that no one could see her!...helo helo? i can see you soooo clearly from my rear mirror k???WAHAHAHAH ....i pratically laughed out loud in the car.

Almost got out my handphone to take a picture of her ..but erm....i guess everyone needs a little privacy...haha

Moral of the story : the driver in front of you can see everything you do in the car :P so WATCH OUT!

Heat Stroke Alert!

My GAWD!!!

Its sooooooooooooo hot here rite now...that i could just die! :(

I must apologize for the lack of updates over the past few days but you really cant blame me with the weather y'know? :p

I m sort of hibernating bcos of the current heat wave...wahahahaha...

I know animals hibernate when it bcomes too cold...but no..i hibernate bcos it is TOO HOT...i will die if i do anything strenuous...WAHAHAHHA..

okok..maybe im exaggerating...

but here i am blogging again rite?? after a nice COLD COLD bath ...AHHHHHHHHHHH...

Its so hot...i have been having a constant headache since 2pm...BOOHOOHOOO...this is torture!

Okok...i will quit complaining about the weather...

I know there are 2 slices missing from the picture...WAHAHAH but you know what? we were kept waiting for at least 35 minutes just for one measly pizza!!!!!!!!

By the time it arrived, we were both too starved to remember taking a picture...HEH!

My advice is ... do not try out a new pizza on its first weekend.. :P




But its quite good really..the trick is to pull out the cheezy fingers off from the pizza and just eat them on its own.

Being a cheese lover...i can tell you its HEAVEN..MmmMmM...a mixture of parmesan,mozarella and cheddar cheese...and a sprinkle of garlic on top...!!! YUMMYYYY! :)

But according to my dear fren,she said they were not entertained for a while so she decided to get up to take the menu from the owner...but she threw the menu at her...OMG..wat rudenesss...hehehe...so thats all i wanted to say...

My Cubicle

Well...not sure how many of you have heard the parody to James Blunt's You're Beautiful entitled MY CUBICLE...hehe its really a hilarious song. Those who have not heard it before and would like to hear it, kindly give me your email add and i will email it to you ok?

So back to my topic ... MY CUBICLE!

Since i spend around like erm....at least 8 hours in my cubicle...i think it rightly deserves a place in my blog rite???LOL

Its like a second home to me by now...*sob* what a pathetic life :

Alive and Kicking

Got thru my first class and am still surviving!!! *cheers*

Actually it wasnt all that bad la...in fact, it was quite fun! HA!

All the complains over nothing ....



For one, the class wasnt as long as 6months...it will only take us around 6 weeks!!! YAY!!! The 6 month class was cancelled already since it was too long.

6 weeks is like only 1 month and 2 weeks!!....HOO BOY...thats a relief...

But then again, the class made me see another side of my colleagues which i've never seen before!

Thats the amazing part of it...which i think could be one of the reason our company sent us all for weekend classes. We got the chance to mingle around with each other, tell some jokes, laugh abit...and found out more about each other. We really did.



Seems that we are each required to present one topic every week. Today's topic was to talk about yourself and your hobbies/interests :p

But i didnt reveal myself...well at least not yet ... heh!

And i too got the chance to find out about my colleague's personal interests....really cool.



I mean, when i first started working after i graduated...i felt working life was different from life as a student cos all my colleagues seemed to be only minding their own business and there's not much time for fun and jokes.

I thought all my colleagues are boring people who only care about their work and own personal matters...I think everything proved wrong today

I found that my colleagues are all playful and fun people just like the coursemates i had last time :)



Its just that we are each too caught up in our daily tasks to be doing that...HEH!

After my class, i met up with an old friend...my coursemate in college :p

It always felt good to be meeting up with old friends and trying to rekindle our friendship and to catch up with each others life.



Well...it was nice meeting up with him :)

If only we wouldnt be so caught up in our own personal life and responsibilities....then perhaps we would be able to see each other more..but then again, responsibilities become a part of our life which just cannot be ignored.

Oh well...

Those pics were taken over a span of a few saturdays...i think it has been sort of a routine for me now to take some pics of my moms flowers whenever i dry my clothes in the backyard on saturday mornings..hahaha...feebacks are most welcomed :) i am trying to improve my skills..heh!

Thai Girls Show in Pattaya

Well..for those who have read this post before... you would know i went to Pattaya,Bangkok last month and i went to the THAI GIRLS SHOW!

Yup!.. i really did...and it costed me a hefty rm60 for a show which is ...well .... not quite SO entertaining...

Or isit bcos im a gal myself??HEHEH...

I have decided to talk a little on the show itself in this post since i have not in my previous posts.

Well..the show is really quite a secretive one. No cameras,no handphone, no recording devices are allowed AT ALL. To make sure, they would even ask to check your bags to make sure u do not smuggle any such devices in.tsk tsk tsk ... so kin teo.

Now we come to the most important thing of all...what IS actually the thai girls show all about?

Well to tell you the truth, i was somewhat deceived by the tour guide into thinking we were all going to some sort of a kung fu show. You know why?? cos the &%$&*%^ tour guide told us it was a QI GONG show. Here check this out if you dont know whats that ;p

Only when we were actually at the place did i realised what i was actually in for!

Its about girls....well doing Qi Gong alrite....with their *sob* genitalia.

It was a SHOCKING and not forgetting to mention EYE OPENER for all of us!!
Oh gosh!! oh gheeezzz

it was sooo grosss!!! especially for us gals...

Well, i wouldnt tell you in details what was actually performed in the show since they perform the same routine day in day out...just in case you might wanna check it out for youself one of these days...wahaahahah...

But the first act that was performed on the stage really stunned us...we were not readyy!!! MAMAMIAAA.... SOMEONE TAKE US OUT! lol

There was this guy and gal having sexual intercouse rite on stage...!

Well...the scary thing is the gal didnt really look like a gal *gasp*

She had all the features of a gal alrite...but, she kept her face covered the whole time and some of our friends even claimed that they saw an adam's apple...BOOHOOHOOO..jian gui le!

Even if shes not REALLY a gal, its not too much of a wonder...since ... well its THAILAND ok? the country which is famous for their pretty pretty tranvestites :p

So after that scene...out came other gals...naked and/or topless gals that is 'x'

To cut a long story short...the show basically involves the gals putting in stuffs such as ribbons,razors (yipes), and even a LIVE BIRD!!!! My goodnesss...the thing they can put inside...HAHAHAHAA...

They can do quite a lot of things with their erm...*cough* assets.

They could even open a coke bottle...throw darts...etc etc

Yaks...so scary...

But the funny thing is when they come down for volunteers from the audience....HAHAHAAHAH

I almost laughed out loud looking at those poor poor male audience. They seemed to be too shy to even LOOK at the topless gals.

They all seem to have the same pose....arms crossed, head looking straight ahead and they didnt even dare to turn their heads to the left or right...HAHAHAHAHA

So when one of the gals approached them....speaking in thai...they would just keep a dead serious face and just shake their heads vigorously! LOL!

Luckily i kept my guy out of their way...HEE

Well...actually we got something extra from our RM60 entrance fee..thansk to a japanese mama ... hehh

There was this japanese mother and her teenage son...should be around 16/17 in the show together with us. When it came to the part where the guy and the 'gal' having intercourse on stage...the mama just dragged her son by his arm to the door.

Unfortunately, there were 2 big burly men guarding the door. Apparently, they do not allow anyone to leave the show before it actually ends.One of the men blocked her way saying no no ...
but the mama was obviously too enraged to even reason with them.

She practically pushed past the guy...and then another bigger and burlier guy came out and a series of shoving and pushing ensued..my gawd!

I was half afraid the burly men might give the jap mama a box in the eye 'x'

Still she insisted on getting her son out of the theatre...at the end, they came to an agreemetn and allowed her son to sit next to the door, back facing the stage...hehehe...poor son...

So thats about it regarding the show...nothing much to see la..despite the secretive nature of the show and the whole place. I would say ... spend your 600baht on shopping ... bleks ;p

How's your friday???

I m having quite a headache over here...have not been feeling well since yesterday. Could be the excitement of going back to school after 2 long years...HAHAHAAHAH

I am not sure how many of you out there still remember the nite b4 a new school year starts. As for me, im always so excited and happy to go back to school for the new academic year so that i could meet up with my friends,catch up with the latest happenings and not forgetting the nice feeling of using new exercise books,new pencils and pens,new text books,new syllabus...HAHHAAH

Well...anyway look what i just came back with ...



LOL! a writing pad and a pen!! :)))

And boy stationaries sure are getting more n more expensive by the day... lol

Looking back at how i will be equipped with only a pen and a writing pad to class....i remember those days when i still live my life as a student (sob ...seems so long) the guys would always come to lectures with only a pen/pencil and sometimes no writing pad at all...and htey would just psst psst at some gals to tear out a piece of paper from their writing pad...HEE...

Gals on the other hand, would be equipped with a full set of stationary.. and i REALLy do mean a FULL set!

They would bring along a pencil bag with at least one blue pen,one black pen,one red pen,one highlighter,one pencil,one eraser, erm make it 2 pencils jsut to be safe...HAHAHAHHAHA

Isnt that how boys and gals are different??? :)))

So funny...

i am feeling down again...

Well...for those who know me and my blog quite well already...you would know that i just absolutely love saturdays...RITE???

but my saturdays are no more!!! NO MORE!!! *sob*

I was selected to attend my company's ORAL PRESENTATION CLASS starting this saturday...EVERY saturday!!! *BAWLLLLLLLL* *STOMPS FEET ON FLOOR*

Mind you its EVERY saturday from 1030 am to 130 pm!!!!!!!

OH dear!!! gone are the saturdays when i could shop or try out new food!!! :((((((((

I have come out with a few theories as to WHY ON EARTH WOULD I BE SENT TO AN ORAL PRESENTATION CLASSS...

No 1 : Company thinks i talk too much in office and therefore sends me off to oral presentation class to talk my heart out :(

No 2 : Company thinks i talk too LITTLE in the office and therefore sends me off for some training

No 3 : Company wants me to do more oral presentation for them in the future...*ahem* :))

No 4 : Company thinks i have been a lazy pig on saturdays eating and more eating and therefore sends me off to school!! BOOHOOOHOOOO

Maybe you would think im being such a dramarama here...but but but...I M LOSING OUT ON MY SATURDAY HERE MIND YOU!!! and God knwos how important saturdays are for me!!!

I was so depressed when i got the mail this morning that i even told Red Sponge i might resign...WAHAHAHAHAHA

OK...maybe im over-reacting...but if you'll excuse me...i need to look for my backpack and buy some notepad and erasers....i start school in 2 days time *SOB*

PAY DAY~~~

I think that is the most beautiful day in the whole month..(not including weekends of cos :P)!!

For 30 days we work and strive hard to reach this day...if only there are more pay days in one month!..WAHAHAHAHA

I always have a very happy feeling whenever i go to the ATM to get some money on PAY DAY :)))

Theres the feeling of knowing that i can now finally buy that skirt or that shirt which i've had my eye on last week with a peace of mind....

And when i've got the thick stack of notes in my purse....WAAAAAA so happy!!!! :)))) Finally my purse is FULL AGAIN!!.. MUAHAHAAHAHA

At times like these...i feel RICH and GENEROUS!!!

shhhhhhhhhh ...better not tell anyone ;p

I am easily taken advantage of to treat or buy things for people at these times...HEH!

So happily i go back home...

Then comes the ugly part ...

Allocating the money for BILLS *SOB*

So i will have this amount for phone bills, another amount for my broadband, for car petrol, for insurance...blablabla...and the most painful one being my car loan :(

And TA DAAAAA~~~ i m left with only one note!

BOOHOOHOOOOO~~~ I hate pay day! :'(

The Great Singapore Sale

Nop...it wasnt me who went to Singapore for the Great Singapore Sale...it was my sis



She just came back on Saturday and as usual, there are goodies for everyone in the family :)))

So i was thinking...

Isit better to be the one to go on a holiday and have to buy something back for family and friends

OR

Be the one waiting at home for your gifts from someone who went on a holiday???

Heheheehehe...it is something worth pondering about...

You see...when im on a holiday...i will usually be quite stressed trying to think of what to buy for so and so...

I wont be able to shop for myself with a peace of mind until i actually manage to buy at least ONE thing for each of my family members,close friends and of cos not forgetting my colleagues :P

It is torturing i can tell you...

Why, when i was at bangkok ... i tried to buy something for everyone and only realised that i have not bought even A THING for my own self on the last day :(

And it is not hard to buy a gift for someone too!... Its like shopping for christmas!

And when i come back from my holiday and start distributing gifts to everyone....more often than not...i will suddenly remember AIYA~FORGOT TO BUY GIFT FOR SO AND SO....

Then i will have to give that person another gift which i have meant to give another person...WAHAHAHAHHAHAHA...

So you get the picture about the hassle of gifts buying on a holiday...

On the other hand, if you were the one waiting at home for someone who went on a holiday....i tell you, its a different story...

You will be happily anticipating and hoping for the gift ... MINUS the hassle of thinking and buying gifts, and without having to pay for air tickets, accomodation, transport, etc etc!

So isnt staying at home a better option???WAHAHAHHAAH...

Ok..back to the original topic...the great singapore sale...

Well...despite all the promo and ads about the sale...i didnt think it was such a biggie when i was at singapore last year...

There are cheap sales alrite...but it wasnt so cheap le...

I would prefer the clearance and year end sale tho :)

Another Rojak Post

Hi there...

again i have a few short little stuff to write about and i just have to jumble them up together in ONE post :)

Ok...first on the agenda is .... i saw a little scene that just brings me a little warm feeling in my heart :)

This....



Hee..saw this mama dog and baby dog by the roadside. They are strays. What really caught my eye is how happy they both are just with each other's companionship.

The mama was licking and giving the baby a bath while the little puppy was running around and around just playing with his mama :))

Ok...so yesterday i went to try out the rather new eatery opposite Star Cineplex.

It wasnt exactly newla, just that it was taken over by a new management so it has a new name, a new concept and of cos a new menu. Previously it was called the LIFE KOPITIAM.

I was introduced to Xuan Ye by my sister. She said it was OH SO GOOD and OH SO NICE

So i jus had to give it a try

The place has a kind of antique-chinese-coffee-shop feeling.





My sister ordered the Chinese Sausage with Chicken Rice.


The complimntary bowl of seaweed soup is NICE!


It came with a VERY big bowl of rice..no kidding




The rice was very fragrant. I could eat the rice by itself :P

The lemon chicken is not crispy enough and the noodle which was supposed to be DRY was WET!! Cos the noodle wasnt drained properly after boiling

As a result...the scoop of coleslaw included with the dish was so watery and yuckies...

Ok .. enough about that

For dinner...

i had a lovely lovely meal at County Court

I just love this place!

Its the only place to go in Kuching if you wanna spend less than rm50 on a really satisfying chinese restaurant kinda dishes

We ordered a little too many dishes actually

We had BUTTER SQUID which i think is a MUST try if you were to eat at Country Court and Baby Kailan with Oyster Sauce

See..i bought a ROACH TRAP





Its a little box like contraption with an adhesive surface

By adhesive... i mean REALLY ADHESIVE

I accidentally touched the adhesives and my hand was almost stuck...hee

So all i had to do was to pour this little packet of ROACH BAIT right into the middle part of the adhesive surface



See...you could see the small dots of bait in this pic... The yellow surface is the adhesive part lo..

I hate roaches and i think its time i destroy the whole colony of htem...MUAHAHAAHAH

muahaahahahahah die you cockroaches!!!

But so far no stupid roaches have yet to venture into my trap :(

Painful Lesson

THE Creature Living In My House

There is a creature who cant be seen in my house at the daytime but it will emerge when the sun sets.

Sounds creepy isnt it?

Hehee...but its not something terrestrial or spritual...

Its just my cat! :)

Hahahaha...

My cat is the Queen of the House...i wonder why i have not blogged about her till now.

We can only see her back home if :

• Its raining
• Its dinner time
• Its night time
• There are dogs running loose around my neighbourhood
• She feels tired
• She wants some scratching around the ears

Yep...i guess that's about it!

The initial reason we brought her back was to catch RATS

Unfortunately, that's just what she NEVER does. She catches stuff...oh yes...but only lizards and cockroaches O_O

Tsk tsk tsk... gone are the days when cats cathes rats i tell you! Now, its my little toy dog who does that! HA!

But that is anotehr story altogether... we r here to talk about my cat remember?

We did not like go out and purposely look for a cat in the pet shop and buy one home..NO..

She was nature's gift! A 'gift' that followed my sister home one day...

My sister thought since the little kitten has been following her to her car...she might as well bring her back since my mom has been complaining about rats running around in our house compound.

So one day a little kitten joined our already quite huge family of dogs...oh boy!.. Was there a lot of going on between my dogs when the kitten came into our house

They were jumping and barking and howling! That's just natural isnt it? Dogs will be dogs...

We were never a CAT-PERSON....nop! We are DOG-PEOPLE...wahahhah...

So we were quite inexperienced when it comes to keeping a cat! I remember there was even a stage where we kept her on a leash for fear that she falls into a drain and injure herself on her daily romps...HAHAHAHAA

And the weird thing about this cat is ... i think she likes me!

Whenever i leave for work in the morning, i would see her running outside as i reversed my car out from the car porch.

According to my mom, she never sees her in the house for the rest of the day after that!

But when i come back home from work, i will again see her jumping in from outside and she will lie on the mat and purr and purr until i at least give her a little pat on the head! :)

Hi There...

I have a few little short stuffs to blog about and since they are SHORT ... why not combine all of them into one post rite?

Ok first up is...

How therapeutic it is to drive ALONE at NIGHT :)

Sometimes the reason i enjoy Friday nites is.............. well not bcos i could go out and party with my frens (which fri nites are supposed to be anyway :( ) but its bcos its the only nite where i get to have my own time on the road ... hehe

Cos i usually have choir practises on friday nites and its always enjoyable to drive home on a quiet and almost empty road with slow music on the radio....What can i say? Its the best way to unwind after a hectic week...a great way to start the weekends i say!

Ok talking about a hectic week...which brings me to the 2nd topic...

There is one thing my client cannot understand...

A Software application is there to make it easier to do your job...it is not there to help you NOT to do your job

See? Its such a simple thing,but after 2 years it has been fully confirmed that she doesnt understand that!

Imagine this...i will try to put this in a very un-I.T. manner as much as possible ^_^

Software A needs to retrieve some data from Software B. Software A and Software B are 2 separate applications which performs their own functions. Its just that they are related in some way, so we have linked up those 2 to make the lives of our users easier.

But NOOOOOOOOOO...User dont want that!

She wants Software B to be TOTALLY integrated with Software A so that they dont have to login to Software B AT ALL to do their work! She wants all the required data from Software B to be accessible from Software A without having to just open another IE window and login to Software B!

Grrrrrrrrrrr

Ok enough about that .. its the weekend and thinking about the #%#%&^ client is the last thing i wanna do ...heh!

Birthday Celebrations

I think one should just find a companion and fall in love!

Why???

Cos when its his/her bday, its almost as if its your birthday too!!

LOL

Even tho its not my birthday yesterday, i got special treats the whole day.

For instance,my mom so kindly offered to cook a special lunch for him,which of cos i enjoyed too!

His colleagues bought him a tiramisu which of cos i got the chance to enjoy a slice too

Then i got the chance to enjoy a lovely dinner which of cos came from my pocket...HA...

I m soooooooo sleepy now..need to get my rest so i apologize for the lack of words in this post...hehehe...So here are some pics from last nite's dinner

Oh btw..we were at AHA...the restaurant that claimed to serve HEALTHy food...

The menu is separated into a few categories like OMEGA 8 which of cos consists of all the dishes containing fish....and HEALTHY LIVING with items such as fruit yoghurt,fruit juices,etc.

The most amazing thing is lamb and beef and such are categorised under HEALTHY HEART

Im not too sure those are too healthy for our heart..hmmm...

So anyway here they are :

The first time we went to AHA last year, he was so in love with this dish that i tried to prepare it for him on V Day...now if you would so kindly click here and look at the pics...

And a very special dish called TREASURE BOX



Its actually a dugged-out bread loaf with a mixture of carrots,cauliflower,fish,prawns,celery and topped with melted parmesan cheese

Its quite special..something out of the ordinary...

I love the bowl-like bread...the cheese-soaked bread is absolutely YUMMY!!!

We had a satisfying and FULFILLING and POCKET-FRIENDLY dinner at AHA!...

And we will be back...cos they awarded us with a FREE membership card last nite...YAY!





errr...this is something un-related to this post...but i just wanna post this up...cos i love this!! Oh its MAYONNAISE CHICKEN btw. HEHEEH will blog about this another day,but for now i just wanna post this pic up for Red Sponge.

DISINILAND...where dreams do not come true

Went to DISINILAND this morning ... and what do i have to say??????

Well...we finished touring the WHOLE place in 15 minutes!

Drove for almost 2o minutes and back in 15 minutes! That is the most un-worthwhile things to do!

The place is located soooo deep among the many kampungs and housing estates that we got lost a few times...grrrr...

And after the hype and anticipation to see all the beautiful ponies and flowers and landscape as pictured in the map...ITS A TOTAL DISAPOINTMENT!!!

The place is dirty and the pathway is muddy and it is smelly...and erm erm ... the worst thing is ... there is ALMOST nothing to see!

I say it is a typical malaysian-no-entrance-fee-required place.

Certainly not worth it to drive so far for nothing! Well, unless of course you wanna take dip in the makeshift swimming pool..then perhaps you would have spent a longer time there.And the pool water seems a little muddy if you ask me...BRRR...

The s0-called DISINILAND CAFE is more like a school canteen.Only problem is, i think the cafeteria in my college is much better

Well, i dont know ... for those who have not been there...you can go and see for yourself.Maybe its not my type of place..and i certainly wont be going there again!

I must say i love animals and i've enjoyed myself a little by looking at the cute baby goats but i think i've had a more enjoyable time in a pet shop
