Tribute to Ray Optics

Well, i have been wanting to buy a new casing for my contact lens cos its advisable to change the casing every 3 months. You never know what microorganism could be lurking within your contacts casing...wahahaah..

Ok ... so i went to Ray Optics at Tabuan Jaya yesterday and asked the first staff i met whether or not they have the casing.

He said yes and went behind the counter and produced a casing which he placed on the counter top.

I was feeling a little annoyed to see that he didnt even give me any plastic bag. But pushing that aside, i asked him ...How much is it??

He said "No need, its for you.."

And i thought i heard wrongly and said "HA?"

He again repeated "err...just give to you."

Then i grinned stupidly and said thanks and quickly walk out.Any annoyance which ive felt earlier on ... gone! Plastic bag or no plastic bag.. i was FEELING HAPPY! :)

I've ever bought the contacts casing from some other optometrist before and i was really happy that Ray Optics actually give them out for FREE!! wahahahahaahah

I am so gonna buy all my eye care goods from there now on ..!

Ooops!!!

Streamyx has been acting up on me again for the past few days and i couldnt blog about the pictures which i have taken. arghhh...

so i thought ...hmm i might as well sacrifice a night with my sims and blog about those pics at his house lor...so i quickly saved all the pics into my handy drive and happily went to his place...

and ... ALAS!! i have forgotten to unplug my handy drive from my pc...talking about forgetfulness -_-"

so i started to crack my mind on what to blog about without any pics and so i tot i might as well blog about my sims...teehehheeh

i have been playing sims2 night and day during the long weekends...i think im going crazy...

why, im even beginning to talk like sims ..in fact Red Sponge and i have begun to pick up some sim-glish...wahahahaah...mind you , its not SINGlish...its SIMglish.

I thought it was really crazy of me to play sims2 till 2am but then when i went to work this morning,i found out that theres someone *ahem* even more crazier than me.she played sims2 till 4am...tsk tsk tsk tsk..shame on that someone *ahem ahem*

anyway, let me tell you a little about my sims lo ok??hehehehe...

I found out a few things regarding the game during the non-stop,dedicated play of the game during the weekends..

1. Sims of the same gender could errrrrrrrr fall in love with each other!!! This came as a shock to me...i mean what would happen to all those little kids who play SIMS2??They would think that its ok for a guy to be with a guy..yuckss...Actually,sims of the same gender could even WOOHOO together!!!!...well,woohoo is.................errrrrr......ahhhhhh..sims language for..................YOU KNOW WHAT la ;)
2. Sims could have twins!!! yay!!! i was overjoyed when my sims bore twins on saturday night.i was practically jumping with joy and sms-ing Red Sponge to tell her the good news.hahahaha..its as if im the one having the twins :p
3. Sims can get pregnant even before they are married.tsk tsk tsk...i really do not recommend this game to children even tho im such a big fan ..heh!

On a different note, hmmm so um...easter has come and gone...

The church people has so kindly donated easter eggs for the easter mass yesterday.They were such a pretty sight i tell you.The kids did a really good job of painting it orange,blue,pink,green and some even had disco dust on it.

As pretty as they may seem...i didnt dare take those eggs back cos i would most certainly not put those coloring into my mouth..YAKS..they might as well paint empty egg shells 'x'

so anyway,HAPPY EASTER!! :)

i dont usually do this lar,but i have to do this today cos its gonna be a bz weekend,even tho its a holiday 2moro. cos its the start of the Triduum (for those who dont know whats that,pls type define:triduum in google..wahahah)

so anyway, Red Sponge was telling me thsi morning that she's going to KL end of this month.

The first thign that blurted out from my mouth was ..... SINCE WHEN YOU PEOPLE HAVE PROJECT IN KL?

to which she almost immediately replied "PHIK PHIAK,NOT FOR WORK PURPOSES LA!!"

i think i've worked too much...i never realised that she could suddenly take some time off to kl for leisure purposes..wahaha..i think thats waht the working environment is doing to us.it is paralysing our brain and our creativity... =(

am typing this post halfway thru putting on my night cream cos i was too excited to have my streamyx back again after being dead for 2 days :( (my streamyx, i mean :D)

so lets cut the crap and get to the topic ...HA!

ok.so we were shopping in tun jugah this afternoon when we met an old friend.

so naturally we said HI!

and the next thing that came out from his mouth was "SHOPPING AH???"

it was followed by a moment of silence from both of us before he nod and said "YA SHOPPING" i mean i was a little taken aback by his question and thus the silence from the usually noisy umm..FRIENDLY me :)

hehehe...

it was then that i realised that...people do say the darndest things...

i mean do we look like we are umm...doing other things when obviously we r shopping???

HA!!!

thats a mistake that we always do.

we try to find some 'wu liao' topics to talk about whenever we are out of topics! whenever we see people shopping we will say "SHOPPING AH???". whenever you see someone eating ...you will say "HAVING DINNER/LUNCH AH???". whenever you see someone reading a book...you will say "READING AH???"

i mean you could just say hi..and how do you do all those stuffs...but asking a question to which you already know the answer to, is just plain weird!

so my advice is .... the next time you see a friend who asks this kind of question...heres a good method to tackle the OBVIOUS-QUESTION-ASKING-PERSON (in short,OQAP)

OQAP Friend : HEY! Shopping ah???
You : No. i m SHITTING!

Its OVER! Its OVER!!!

heheheheh...just realised that i have forgotten to provide some feedback on my dental visit. I think i ought to say something lar..or else someone *AHEM* thought i have lost all my teeth and i don dare blog about it :P

okiee...soo..ummmmmm

after all the worries and anxieties of going to the dentist...he only spent 15 minutes on me :(

When he asked me whats wrong...i said lor...the gum near my wisdom tooth is swollen and its painful.

I was half expecting him to say OOO YOU MUST PULL IT OUT! CANNOT LET IT GROW

to which i would reply ..OH! CAN I HAVE SICK LEAVE THEN? 'x'

But ..all he said was...OOH! We should clean it.there's an infection

:(

So he clean it lor...and ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH it was painful!!!

I jumped quite high from my chair when he poked the gum...my gawd!! There were even tears in my eyes..

And after finishing the cleaning, he instructed me to bite on a piece of gauze ..and as you might well understand i cannot talk well lo after that.

So i went outside to the nurse to get my medicine and pay (of course ;] ) and realised that i need to ask for a receipt and I COULDNT TALK with that piece of gauze in my mouth...

So i was like FMMTM FMBMDDM???

And the nurse HAH!?!?!?

And i said Cfmd i hfd a receipfff????

heheeh..a little embarassing..luckily i din SPLOOSH out all my saliva on her desk...WAHAHAHAHA

so that's all...although its still painful ..but no more mashed potatoes for me...WHY..i can already eat kolok mee ler this morning....MUAHHAHAHHAHA

Young Again

Just came back from a kiddie birthday party and MAN! am i tired! Its my nephews fifth birthday today and im a little tired from getting up and down trying to entertain the kids and make sure they are not up to something :P

When i play with little children, i feel YOUNG AGAIN! start to reminicse my own childhood ..heh ehehheeh

When my nephew took a group photo with his little friends, i told my brother in law he should take a good one..cos you never know where/who these friends might be next time.

As for mine, when i look at my childhood photos...it is rather amazing to find that some of them..i still meet/keep in touch with. For e.g., on my fifth birthday party, one of the invitee turned up to be my colleague's wife and another one turned up to be his colleague...hohoho what a small world.

Its a lucky thing i didnt run around naked or do something embarassing during my fifth birthday party.Then perhaps his colleague would start to gossip and say EH YOU KNOW THAT SO AND SO'S GF AH..LAST TIME SHE RUN AROUND NAKED ON HER BDAY PARTY.. 'x'

Put aside the tiredness of bringing little kids to the toilet ,etc etc...i have managed to make a conclusion from 2nite's party...

I WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE DAUGHTERS NEXT TIME!

No sons...thank you...WAHAHAHAHAH

Little gals are so cuute and gentle..and you could tie up their hair..and make them wear nice little dresses... AHHH! feel so happy just to think of it...

whereas boys........urghhhhh they run around and play their little toy cars and they SWEAT! :P

Of Appointments and Doctors

I called my favourite dentist yesterday to make an appointment so that he could check the pain in my gum, right?

And the nurse politely told me that the dentist is fully booked for the day.

Me : what about tomorrow (which is today)
Nurse : tomorrow is fully booked also
Nurse :What about thursday?
Me : Thursday is fine. in the morning?
Nurse : Nop,morning is fully booked too.You can come in in the afternoon...

Considering that i was desperate enough...i agreed with thursday afternoon.

I didnt realise that thursday is still 2 days away and my gum is STILL ACHING!

I couldnt eat well , couldnt work well :P

I think those wanting to lose weight should save their money from going to Marie France cos they should just get a TOOTH ACHE. it works wonders! :(

So i was thinking...how come i need to wait for soo many days just to get an appointment???

Imagine this...

Person A : Doctor doctor!!! pls help my friend here!!! he was stabbed multiple times by the madman in the market just now!!!
Doctor : Hmmm...lemme check my schedule

-seconds later-

Doctor : I wil be free in 2 mths time..i will ask my nurse to make an appointment for you..

HA!

hmmm then again, i realised that theres always the EMERGENCY WARD for such cases...but is there an EMERGENCY DENTAL WARD?!!?

Roach Attack

I have always wanted to blog about this but its a slippery subject this is. cos it always slip through my mind whenever i blog ...wahaha...then whenever my brain runs wild when im at work, the idea comes back to me again.and i say to myself OK! 2NITE MUST BLOG ABOUT THIS.

then when night time comes and i start to crack my mind on what to blog...this is almost always not in my list..hmm..

so since im *whisper* free at work right now, i might as well blog about this before i forget again right?? furthermore, i really need to get my mind off the terrible gum ache... :(

anyway,lets get back to my blog topic...

its about ..... COCKROACHES!!!!!!!

cockroaches or roach as i shall refer to it in this post could easily be one creature that i hate the most!...they r yucky and they are ...urghhhh.....just plain disgusting!

I think my terrible hate for them creatures started one night quite many years ago. i was sleeping soundly...happily dreaming of my prince charming (*Ahem*) when....huh???whats that itchy thing near my arm?

i thought it was my hair when it started to crawl into my sleeves you kno!?!?!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i jumped out off bed faster than a shooting rocket and squished whatever it is that is in my sleeves with my bare hands...

YEARGHHHHHH its an ugly roach!!! and its squished!!!

Yaks..needless to say i have to get up and have a change of pajamas...and disrupt my sleep!!

those ugly things! i would always remember the scratchy itchy feel the the ..the .........THING made on my arm...........bbrrrrrrrr

So since then, i sorta made a vow to kill ANY roaches that enter my room! MUAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA

Whenever i see any roachie, i would most certainly make sure its squashed and/or DEAD before i sleep. Or else, i would have a difficult time falling asleep and be paranoid of any moving things.

I hate to admit that i look most UN-graceful when im on the bid of finding and killing a roach.

I would be armed with a can of roachie spray ( or anything you call that) and start to spray every nook and cranny in my room until the little beast comes out...

it woudl usually be running around and around and i would be chasing it and spraying the whole path that the thing took.

The weird thing is...the thing wont die IMMEDIATELY even tho the spray has already touched it!

I mean, its supposed to be ROACHIE SPRAY what!...roaches should die AS SOON as the spray touches its face or body...then it would be efficient ma, rite?

But NO!..the roach would only be slowed down a bit when it kena the spray.

Ok.enough about that...so after a while of CRUEL roach killing in my room...the thing somewhat disappeared! I presume they dont dare to enter my room anymore cos theres the smell of ROACHES DYING CRUELLY in there or sth like tat... :D Which is of course a GOOD THING until....................

THEY STARTED TO APPEAR IN MY BATHROOM!!!!!!!!

Urghhhhhhh...

The clever little things!! They know i wouldnt run out naked to get some aerosol spray when im in the bathroom right!?!? Grrrrrrrrr...

So one night as i was bathing away and i saw this GIGANTIC roach there!

I was really quite helpless..i was afraid that it might jump onto me and ........... hmm so you get the picture :P

I look and look aroudn the bathroom for something...maybe a broom or something......

When IT caught my eye.............

The TOILET CLEANING LIQUID!

Keeping my fingers crossed...i started to spray almost half a bottle of the liquid cleaner on the roach...

And you know what?! The roach squirmed and struggle for half a minute before it stopped moving....TOTALLY! It didnt even have the time to move an inch when the liquid touches it

I almost couldnt believe my eyes that a TOILET CLEANER could be so lethal! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..i felt so happy!

I have foudn the ultimate weapon against ROACHES *EVIL LAUGH*

Since then, i have been using them CLEANING LIQUID for roachie killing.

its efficient..its fast!

However, i always make it a point to make sure the roach is REALLY REALLLY DEAD cos i don want the roach to come alive again after ive left the bathroom and it goes back to its colony and started to reproduce a whole new batch of roaches resistant against TOILET CLEANING LIQUID right?!!?

Or maybe these NEW IMPROVED roach would grow to be bigger bcos of some radioactive agents in the liquid and they start to feast on humans instead~!!! aRGHH the horror! Maybe i would be the first to be feasted on since i m such a big roachie hater... HA!

So anyway, for roachie haters out there...you should try using liquid cleaner or any cleaner with bleach to kill roaches the next time you see them...in your bathroom of cos ! HAHAHA...pls do not use them in your bedroom or anywhere else...and ho! pls make sure they are CONFIRMED DEAD! :)

I have never seen so many snails in one place at one time you know??? They look so cute crawling and crawling and still at the same place after few minutes...HAH!

I think there are some other snails which were hidden in the pic above .. i tell you, there were just SO MANY OF THEM near the pole!

I wonder whats so attractive about the pole.. hmm..

I finally found the guts to make a phone call to my dentist!!!

 :( I hate to admit it but it has been FOUR long years since i last went to a dentist..WAHAHAHA

But my teeth are still pretty ok..don worry ;)

Its just that i couldnt stand the pain caused by my wisdom tooth any longer...i almost couldnt sleep last nite you know??? And i had to wake up and take some painkillers. The stupid gum just wont give way to my growing tooth...THE AGONY!

So i braced myself up and made the much dreaded phone call...

I wanted to get this over and done with ASAP...but unfortunately my dentist's fully booked till thursday!!

Can you believe it?!?!? What if its an emergency??? hMM..but then again,there are other dentists in kuching rite?? HA!

Now i have to start worrying from now until thursday.. *sigh*

 

On a different note...look!! theres anotehr weird looking traffic light in kuching...

Where is Lady Luck?

Lady luck has not been with me this week..starting with my Humpty Dumpty Fall down the stairs and ending with my terrible terrible throat ache :(

I couldnt figure out why my throat suddenly hurt really bad ler..it started yesterday morning..at first i thought it was nothing serious but last night as i was about to go to bed, arghhhhhhhhhh my throat hurt quite bad lor..

I coulndt really sleep the whole nite...woke up twice to spray some sore throat powder but it offered me only a temporary relief.At least i could sleep thru the night.

The first thing i did when i woke up was to wake up someone to bring me to the doc.That coming from my mouth is something rare. I m not a doctor-person...i always believed a home prescribed panadol or sth would cure me..unless of cos i need the sick leave,then i would pay a visit to the doc lor...wahahha

But i was a little worried of me getting tonsilitis actually. I woke up with tousled hair b4 i even brushed my teeeth and started to browse thru my medical encyclopedia to find out the symptoms of tonsilitis...

Anyway,so i went to the kindly little doctor at tabuan jaya and to start things off...the nurse at the reception counter couldnt find my name in their database.at the end they found out that my name was recorded with a double 'R' and thus they couldnt find my name.

and she shook her head and told us "tsktsk.. computers are like that lor...difference of one letter nya , you cannot find it liao"

i almsot told her "auntie ah...u r speaking to the wrong person la..the one thing that i hate most is s****d(insert ur preferred word here :D) users like you who dont know how to use the system and start blaming the system.."

ok anyway..lets not digress.

so went in lor..and the doc said its nothing biggie...its not tonsilitis (pheww) and its not even inflamed.so he said no crispy,crunchy food for me for the next few days so as not to hurt my throat even more, to which i 'x' cos i just had kfc the night before..WAHAHAHA

ok anyway, so i went home lo..and wanted to take the pills and OMG!!!!!the pill is around 1.5cm in length ahhhhhhhh...wahlau ehh....cannot take crunchy food then i am supposed to swallow these gigantic, mother of pills la??? hmmmmmmmm the irony of it all...

How i hurt my behind 'x'

HI!!!

the title says it all huh??? YA! i hurt my behind yesterday and im going to announce it to the whole world on my blog before someone else does... *AHEM*

So yesterday after lunch i was walking down the stairs happily with my organiser and my water bottle in one hand....clik clok clik clok i went...and suddenly PLING PLANG PLING PLANG!!!!

Instinct made me held on to the railing....which was a good thing! Or else i might have rolled all the way down...heh!

Luckily!!! There was no one there!!! My body has been hurt enough , hurt to my pride would be a terrible blow...WAHAHAAHAH...

As a result...i have bruises on my elbow and a big one on my behind :(

I couldnt sleep well last night cos i couldnt lie down flat...and had to lie on my side......and i woke up with a neck ache this morning!!! ARGHHHHH...why oh why am i being so unlucky these few days?

I couldnt stand the pain anymore..couldnt risk spoiling my behind with a big ugly bruise... so i told my mom just now who immediately rolled a  very very  hot soft boiled egg on the bruise.....which made me scream and squirm! I always couldnt stand ppl massaging my bruise cos its ticklish and at the same time PAINFUL!!!!!!!

p/s i didnt fall face down ok? heeee....but the catalogue of disasters plainly explains my mood right now =] lets hope for better luck 2moro...like ummmm perhaps me striking 4D??? yes yes yes! 'x'

Its A Miracle

My mom went on a cockroach-killing spree on friday in the dressing room.

One of the cockroach was lying face up, lifeless... near the bathroom door. i knew it cos i have seen it since friday night lo...

It was still there on saturday....and this morning too!

But just now as i was drying my hair in the dressing room...i saw the cockroach moving!!!

I thought i was imagining things due to the hot weather but as i look closer...OH MY GAWD IT IS A MIRACLE!!!!!! IT IS MOVING!!!

I used my hair dryer to blow it around a bit...AND OH MY!! It moved even more!!!

Down in the dumps

I am feeling down in the dumps again!!! sob sob...

Let me share with you abit..hopefully i would feel better after writing it down...

You see?? Since i was a little ger....ummm mebe since i started sec school la ho? i have always dreamt about going to overseas to study lor...dreamt of studying in an old old castle-like university in UK .... u kno? the kind that looks like harry potter's hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry???

yupz! thats the uni i have been dreaming of...

so i studied very very hard...cos i know i cant expect my parents to send me to UK for further studies....their pounds is 6 times our RM man!!! How impossible is that???

OK. so i studied very hard lo..i told myself..i should get a scholarship!!!

then jengggg...finsihed my sec school and  results is out! my results...i should say is quite good la :P (except for blahdi bm 'x')

so wat scholarships am i entitled to apply to???

OH! found out that JPA offers overseas scholarships! and so did the MOE of Singapore!

So i happily applied..la dee dah

JENG!!! Got called for an interview/test

after that .. no more news :(

so i told myself to be contented with local colleges lo...and even an wei-ed myself that...never mind, i can still apply for scholarships during my final year of my degree

come final year..i lowered my expectations abit liao lor..and said goodbye to hogwarts ... and wrote to australian universities...most of them say the same thing... tat i should apply for a place in their university first b4 i could b eligible for any scholarships!

wahlau..i was thinking to myself...how can???if after apply then i cannot get scholarship how??? wanto kena cekik by my parents ah?

hmm so i told myself NEVER MIND! i can still apply for scholarships when i want to study masters.

then ??? 2 years after i hv graduated with a degree....WHO WANTS TO GIVE ME SCHOLARSHIPS???

Birthdays galore!!!

It was my dad's birthday yesterday and we had the usual family gathering with food and more FOOOODDDD! I have been eating so much since Sunday (sunday was my sister's bday) that  had to shun the weighing machine with terror when i saw it just now .... 'x'

Drive Home

Hi!!! I think the feeling of driving home at night....alone...is just.......GGRRRRREATTT!!!

I dont know why i feel this way...but its just not the same when you are driving at night and when you are beating the #@!%^$ traffic jam in the day time. It is soup for the soul 'x'

Pop in your favourite love song CD and turn up the volume to at least 16, bass should be above level 5...WAHAHAHAHA

I feel so great! :P

What I was Up to on Sunday

Hi!!! How was your Monday? I hope it wasnt TOO blue... :P mine was so so la...not too blue and not too bright...HA!

Ok. lets not talk crap...and get on to what i wanted to blog about.

We finally went to the Popular Book Fair on Sunday!! Yippee!!! This book fair was the 2nd one to be held by Popular. The first being held last year. And we had to go on the very LAST day of the book fair...

Despite all the hype about the book fair, i did not manage to even find a book that i like or rather i did not find a book that i think is worth buying. Cos the price is still almost the same le. Unless you buy 3 of a certain selected range of books, then you could get 30% off for the 3rd book i guess.

But since I am already a popular privilege card member, i don think it is so worthwhile lo.Cos during normal times i could get the same book (minus the dog-eared pages) at 20% discount liao.see?

However, i did buy some stuff la.Again, my kiasu nature got the better of my common sense and i ended up rm30 poorer with stuff that i have always avoid to buy ... hehhe...oh well...

So What did i buy???

My miniature Hello Kitty collection!!.. Mind you i spent quite a lot to collect this much of the miniature Hello Kitty thingy. They came with the promotional ice cream cup. The ice cream was like only soooooo little and the ice cream cup cost me RM3.90...warghhh! why did i ever spent hard earned money on stuffs which ended up under my bed :P And i had to buy soo many of those ice cream cups to get all these. And some were duplicates... :(

Pink Cotton's Half Day Off

YAY!!!...

i m getting an early kickstart to my weekends this week by taking the afternoon off ... YIPPEE DOO!!

my remaining annual leave is nothing to boast about but being free in the office for around 1 week is just not a healthy thing to do! so i thought what the hey!! just open the web leave application and TA DAH! i applied for a half day leave...

sometimes its nice to JUST DO IT without thinking a lot .if i had done that , i wouldnt be having the afternoon off now would i? :)

Bunch of marketing gimmicks to get more customers to Pizza Hut during lunch. Dont know how many of you out there have heard about the so called Lunch EXPRESS offer by Pizza Hut which claims that they could serve you your lunch in 15 mins,thus the name Lunch Express you see?

Ok...so yesterday, we decided to give it a go and we went to the Pizza Hut outlet at Rock Road. It was full to the brim!...its alrite with me..

So just now we tried our luck again at Pizza Hut Jalan Song and woww..it was quite full too! But, we still managed to get ourselves a table. And the table was uncleared...so we tried to get the attention of one of the waitress and she came and said Sorry sorry, and gave us our menu while clearing a CERTAIN part of the dirty plates away. Fine!

So we both decided what to order and started to crane our neck to look for an available waitress...Why, seems that ALL the waitresses were TOO busy to entertain us cos they were trying to meet the 15min serving time policy!

And we were waiting like more than 15min just to get their attention to GET OUR ORDER!!!

So what crap is the 15mins policy when you have to wait for more than 15 min just to order your food?!?! I think if they served us our food in less than 15mins, it would still have took us approx 45 min just to get our food!

Stupid pizza hut!...and the worst thing was the waitress kept on avoiding eye contact with us cos i think they were in too much of a hurry to serve those customers who have ordered.. ! After the 30th minute...we decided that its time we stop all this shid and we walked out.

Thanks to you pizza hut, i got to save my money on your stupid 10% gov tax and 5% service tax crap!

I have been wanting to blog about how great and how fun sudoku is!..how nice it is to spend a very free working day solving a sudoku puzzle on paper cos your boss would think that you are just working out another great plan for the company...

however, the problem with a late post is that ... things change over time...

and i now sing a different tune.....

my advice is..............................DO NOT PLAY SUDOKU!!!

you want to know why??? well..i will tell you why...

i have been playing sudoku when im free in the office and when i am home at night and before sleep...the result???

i woke up at 3am on wednesday to a searing headache (almost sounds like a harry potter story rite??kekeke) ... and when i tried to go back to sleep...the instant i close my eyes...i saw NUMBERS..lots and lots of them!!!

there are not only 81 squares..there are COUNTLESS. and my brain just wouldnt stop trying to solve the unsolveable puzzles whenever i close my eyes.

insane aint it??

but thats what you get when you've played sudoku for a whole day. like how i m not a quake/half life player..i guess im just not a sudoku solver..

heheehno sudoku for me ever again~..nosiree!

The Simple Things of Life

Yesterday evening i somehow managed to reach home a bit earlier than usual and thought i might as well spend some much needed quality time with Angel.So i sat next to the fish pond and called out to her ... the eager look on her face as she ran quickly to put her paws on my knees is really rewarding.

Even though she could not say anything, the very look in her eyes told me that she IS glad that i m taking out some time to pet her on her head and to scratch her ears :)

After a while, she ran to get her chew toy and she brought it next to me while throwing the chew toy up and down, as if inviting me to play with her... heheeh...dogs are REALLY man's best friend in thsi case, a girl's best friend!I felt sorry for not having spent enough time with her.

many a times when i reach home, she would look at me with those big round puppy eyes of her but i just didnt have time to spare for her. Isnt it a pity?

Imagine waitng eagerly for someone to come back for the whoel day and when at last she did come back, she ignores you. Yesterday as i petted the little furry head on my knees, i remembered that i used to spend my evenings outside with my lovely dogs last time.

That 1 hour spent with them would usually be a fun and rewarding experience. I would bring the newspaper outside and spread it on the stone table. And my dogs would gather around my feet watching me reading the papers. In fact, one of my dog .. DeeDee would even jump up onto the table and lie right next to my newspaper..haahaha..Those were the days and to think that i've almost forgotten about the way i used to spent my evenings.

It was always amusing to see them play and prance around with each other.Any cares or worries would usually be gone when you look at them in their carefree ways...I think the dawning of new responsibilities and new commitments puts a toll on each and every one of us.

Working 8 to 6 makes my body weary and my brain exhausted...the moment i reach home i have to either rush on to prepare for a night out or i would be so eager to jump into the bath and tuck in to dinner that we somehow overlook the simple things of life like spending some time to let my poor dog put rest her head on my knees.

arghhhh i feel so guilty!!! life's a b*tc*! :}

Room Service

I have been getting surprises every evening when i reach home for the past 3 days!!!

On the first day, the stuffs i threw on my bedroom floor got MAGICALLY cleaned up..WOW! and my room smelt of floor disinfectant...mm nice!

On the second day (which is Tuesday), i found that all my clothes have magically disapeared from my laundry basket...WAk! it is amazing...i do not have to do laundry on Sunday liao. oh! and my bed seems to magically tidy itself up since monday...hmmmm

Today, when i reached home...again the smell of floor cleaning agent met my nose the moment i opened the door. my my my....my bed is magically tidied once more!!

This is starting to get scary...!!! pls ... don spoil me mom!... i kno you're finally enjoying your retirement but i m just not used to all these luxuries!! ARGHHH...

'Medical' Fees

What with all the scare and chaos about the recent outbreak of HFM (for those who have been living in hiding for the past 2 weeks and have not in any way read the newspaper...it stands for HAND,FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE)...

Sights and Sounds of Driving in Kuching

It really beats me...what is going on in the minds of most kuching drivers???

They drive weirdly and they sometimes drive me up the wall. Which gives me an extra reason to look forward to weekends ,cos i dont have to drive on weekends...wahahahah...

These are the common practices practised by Kuching drivers....let's see how many of these you people agree with :

NEVER give way to other drivers

This is a really weird behaviour.Imagine a two way road which suddenly becomes one way (blame it on Kuching road engineers who design roads in such a way). The car in the main road...would certainly try as hard as possible to accelerate when they come to the point where the two way bcome one way so as to prevent the car in the next lane to cut in..IT is weird!!!!..I mean...that is how the road is designed,somehow...the car in the next lane will have to cut in..its not that they are rudely cutting into your lane....WELL they somehow HAVE to do that ..cos its the way the road is designed!!!! do you get wat i m trying to say??sigh .. i have problems with descripting things.So why don you just have the courtesy of slowing down and letting that car move in just a bit??? tsk tsk tsk

Try to outrun the car in the next lane

Hmmm...i think there is REALLY something wrong with such drivers. You know when you are driving happily and singing along to your favourite song on the radio..and JENG JENG JENG...suddenly the car in the nxt lane goes into KIASU mode and tries to beat you to the next traffic light....HELLOOOO?!!?!? do i have the F1 sticker stuck onto my car??? am i trying to race with you??? DUHhh...

Motorcylists MUST ride right in the MIDDLE of the road

Hey, no offence to motorcyclists out there....but MOTORCYCLISTS who drive RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the road really really pi$$es me off! I may be a small gal driving a small car...but that doesnt mean that i cant knock you down you know?? sighhh...

You MUST stare at the driver next to you when you stop at traffic lights

I don understand the thing about staring at the driver next to you when you stop.It is becoming a habit with some drivers......traffic light turns red....stop the car...and look left and right....SIAO DE!

Well i guess that's about it lorr...my advice to drivers out there....WEAR A SUN SHADE while driving...cos it somehow prevents people from bullying you on the road..WAHAHAHAAH ...its true!!! :P

p/s however, there are some pleasant kuching drivers around too.drivers who slow down and let me go first really makes my day!~! I LURVE YOU ALL!!! 'x'

The Winds of Change...

Today is the last day of work for my mom b4 she starts her retirement life. Isnt it great??? Here i am...only 2 years into the workforce ... can you imagine another 30 over years of working????? arghhhhhhhhhh...

anyways...my dad retired last year ...and now my mom is retired too.. it is just so weird to have our places switched..

long time ago...when i was just a teeny weeny gal...i would be waiting at home the whole day....waiting for my parents to come home. and when they do come home..i would quickly rush to the gates to open it,so my dad's car could come in...etc etc...

but now ho....it is the opposite....

you see...my parents would spend their day at home ... while i would be at work...
when i come home, i would find both of them there...doing housework..or sth...
isnt it weird???

hahaha...times have changed.....and how time flies....*sighhh*

p/s but they din open the gate for me when i come back leiiii :(

The Cold Hard Truth

When i was little...i used to think that having a boyfriend is such an easy thing...you find yourself a guy that you like...and he likes you too..and BANG!! you 2 r desperately in love....everyday passes by like a bed of roses.......and he seems to run out of ideas on how to be romantic.

when you quarrel....there he is standing out side your house even tho it is raining cats and dogs..without an umbrella and he is soaking wet.OH your heart breaks when you sees this and you immediately run out and give him a hug.......................not long after that DENG DENG DENG...you 2 get married in a chapel full of smiling faces..and off you 2 go to an exotic place for a honeymoon...........

ok! thats enough of all the mushy pooshy stuff...

so is that really it?!?!!? is that how it happens in REAL LIFE???

HOGWASH i say!!... to the dumpsters with all the HK and Korean love stories! 'x'

Well...i'm not totally saying all the scenes in those series dont come true in real life...sometimes, they do you kno?? but that is not what love is REALLy all about,isnt it???

falling in love isnt all that easy...it takes time, it takes a large amount of getting to know each other.you just don fall in love at first sight!...if you could fall in love in first sight...the world would be in total chaos...cos every1 would be falling in love with every1 ..wahaha

secondly....

you just don decide that OHKAY...u wanna spend your WHOLE LIFE with this person after few days of knowing him/her...NO!...how could that even happen??? Besides, how could a young OH DROP DEAD gorgeous young man have enough money to marry you in such a short time?? The world is a materialistic world u kno? u get married with no dinner,no nothing....mouths will start to talk....EEE THAT SO N SO'S DAUGHTER...MUST B SHOT GUN WAN LA..OR ELSE Y NO CHIA HO? tsk tsk tsk...thats how the whole horrid world works...

thirdly....

a relationship IS NOT a bed of roses..there will be ups and downs,pleasant and unpleasant. All part and parcel of a relationship if you ask me. You may hate it ...but i guess its just bound to come about...

i m not trying to break every girl's fantasy about a perfect relationship and a perfect bf/husband...to me, life isnt that simple...

hate it as we may....its just bound to stay that way... ;)
