Actually i m rather nervous to see you all dolled up in your wedding gown tomorrow .... the pretty young bride that you are ... forgive me if i do stifle a giggle or two....it is just very different from your normal self ...hehehe

Ok this is another story about A and B...what are your opinion?

one fine day...A went to pick up her friend B out of goodwill since they both wanted to go somewhere lah...

The minute B got into A's car...she started to nag about a lot of things like .... nag about her driving,nag about her car,nag about her personal life,nag about the routes A is taking to reach the destination and the nagging goes on...

A was too shocked and surprised to be nagged at like this to get angry lor...

After bringing B home, A vowed never to nag her bf again (at least not to nag SO much) 'x' and of cos A vowed never to give B a ride in the future

Was at Only Mee (Jalan Song branch) last friday...seems that i only hang out around this area nowadays ....hmm...

Previously ive only been there once since its opening ... the first time i was there...i had the green curry fettucini but it was so so only

I ordered for tomato kueh tiaw with crispy boneless chicken wing on friday...
and it came in a big wok like "dish" and i must say it is BIG!

looks very nice doesnt it?

and i must say it taste quite good too! priced at only rm5.50...it comes with one whole sausage and 3 pieces of boneless chicken wing...!!!

cheap or what???

i was quite impressed with only mee for this :P

went back there again today during lunch...wahaha and had the spaghetti bolognese...and i must say im in love with their spaghetti too...kekeke

i heard that all the noodles/spaghetti(?) are freshly made...so that must explain the nice springy texture of the spaghetti

so if you are ever in that area...drop by for lunch! and you might just spot me there! (jalan song area has been endorsed "PINK COTTON AREA" these days) =)

Quite impossible bcos i m not a very big fan of this guy .... and i used to say that he cannot sing...except for a few songs which are quite good lar... But why is there a CD of andy lau in my hands????

Lemme tell you a story lor...i was strolling around Jalan Song ( the "pirated discs" heaven) and saw a section of the floor being strewn with shrink-wrapped high quality and authentic looking audio CDs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wah wah wah..and guess what??? its only RM5!!!!!!!!!!!! *faint*

(those in Penang where the pirated discs lagi bagus pls don say so much lar hor? cos so far the cheapest pirated audio cds we can find here are RM6 and those come in lousy plastic only 'x')

Since it is so cheap ... and since the quality soooooooooo good! almost as good as real ones...i die die also must choose one cd!!

Saw my "bf" ...Wang Li Hom and pointed it out to the seller ... luckily my real bf pointed out that its not an audio disc but a vcd...

but that did not stop me from choosing one cheapo cd...scan here n there...i think i shud give andy a chance! kekeke

Halo just got back from another drinking session at Point One BDC. Ashamed to say that this is my first time there after so long...hehehe...

Almost couldnt find our way there and had to make 2 emergency phone calls to Red Sponge but she did not answer her phone!!!! Where is she when you need her most??? 'x'

Anyway...do you know that they have in-house karaoke singers entertaining their patrons??

There were two of them actually and i must say they r REALLY GOOD!!!

both in terms of singing and performance.

Those who are getting married should consider hiring these kind of people to sing at their dinners instead of those ah dog, ah cat people singing out of tune...but then again, where's the entertainment at wedding dinners if not for these people? *AHEM*

So anyways, i ordered Strawberry Ice blended which ended up to become BLUEBERRY ice blended...oh well,you cant expect them to hear you when there are karaoke singing going on ...but thats beside the point!

UPDATED!

As some of you from Kuching might have already know, there was a very strange phenomenon in the sky at around 12pm today! Our boss came out to tell us there's a weird rainbow in the sky and its GOING TO BE THE END OF THE WORLD!!!

So we all ran out and saw this!!!

Not very clear huh? Thats bcos my camera's not with me ... have to use my phone..but better than nothing la....the rainbow is actually surrounding the sun and actually..there's another rainbow surrounding the inner rainbow but not taken in this pic

There was a big hoohaa in the whole company over this matter and we all enjoyed a 15 mins break...MUAHAHAHAHA

Everyone was too ready to believe that its a sign of the end of the world that they never stopped to think what actually caused it...i quote from a lecturer...its actually a physics phenomenon caused by the reflection of light by the err..................thats all i remember...HA HA HA

It was the bf's birthday yesterday...

went to Cafe Majestic at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for the much talked about Japanese Buffet...
have heard quite a lot of ppl giving positive feedbacks on this buffet already and priced at RM60++ /person...it better be good!

there's quite a variety of japanese dishes to choose from ranging from ...sashimi,californian roll,temaki,sushis...

chicken & beef on skewers,vege tempura,japanese pancake...

cold and hot soba,miso soup and the list goes on and on...

but nothing beats this little fella here of cos...

This came with our plate of sashimi...apart from salmon,i can never apart which is which on a plate of sashimi...and this looks like a harmless piece of raw meat rite???

boy! was i wrong! to be honest...it tasted like SHIT!! well, NOT that ive ever tasted shit before...its just what i think shit would taste like if i ever taste it..hmm...

is there this kind of sashimi which smells like shit or isit just that the hotel is serving us smelly meat??? you tell me...

despite the numerous choices of japanese food...i must say the dessert's the best...LOL

and the total damage comes up to....*ka ching*...

is it worth it??? i let you have the final say :P

but last nite got me thinking lor...i think someone shud write a book on the most effective and efficient way to eat at buffets...

i mean there are sooooooooo many variety of food for u to choose from and its eat-all-you-can...do you :

A)Take a little of each dish so that you can try all/most of them ,OR
B)do you eat a certain dish which you think is nice

as of now, i still cant figure out which way suits me best ! haha

Social Issues in Malaysia

heh...the title for this post sounds very INTELLECTUAL and SERIOUS hor??? :)

but actually what prompted me to write this post is because of a few incidents regarding QUEUEING in public places...i must say Malaysians are not very good in queueing...hehehe

ok these are the 2 cases which im going to tell you guys about:

1) Case A



This one did not happen to me..i was merely a spectator :P
ok i was queueing up at the celcom payment kiosk (where we can pay our telephone bills) one fine day during lunch hour and there was a looooong queue. This "uncle" was at the kiosk for around 5 mins + just paying his bill. The queue was like this :

Uncle,Guy A, Guy B (our hero), ME (the fluffy pinkish ball of cotton!)

so after a while uncle felt bad about hogging the kiosk for quite a while dy so he let Guy A pay his bill first.

Guy A only took a while and after guy A has finished...its supposed to be Guy B's turn rite??? But uncle went up to the kiosk again!

Guy B nudged uncle and said:HEY ITS MY TURN! YOU QUEUE UP!

Uncle: WHAT? I HAVENT FINISHED PAYING MY BILLS!
Guy B: eh just now your turn already over wat...now its my turn! everyone is in a hurry i don have a lot of time to spend here
Uncle:*getting furious*blablablabla

I was half afraid that they might end up in a fight so i better step aside lest i get a black eye..heehee...i was not sure who got their turn in the end but the security guard had to intervene. ok thats it for case A.

2)Case B:


This one happend to me lor...last nite :P
The story is like this.....yours truly went to KFC to have fried chicken!!! YUM YUM! 'x'
so naturally i queued up at one counter la...in front of me was another person making his order,but there was no one in front of me except for a little gal of around 12 yrs old who was standing at the side (NOT queuing mind you) looking at some stupid KFC Toys

Then horrrr...suddenly one big assed lady walked right in front of me!!!!! i was like O_O

as if i wasnt there!!!

I was saying very loudly DONO HOW TO QUEUE UP AH????? (in Hokkien)



But she seemed as if she din hear anything...and its not as if she don understand me cos i later heard her speaking hokkien.BLAHDI HELL!



I was very very angry and we queued up at the other queue ... until my someone (hee) pointed out to me that the gal who stood NEAR the counter earlier on was actually her daughter and she (the gal) was supposedly queueing on behalf of her mother (who i presume when to the toilet to PANG SAI b4 eating 'x')



LIKE THAT ALSO CAN MEH????



She (the daughter) was practically NOT IN THE QUEUE! but then again,there were there first la...so i had no say and quietly continued on my queue at the next counter lor...







So ... what is your opinion? Right or wrong? what are your views on this issue? TALK TO ME ! :)))

Bad Hair Day

Busted my piggie bank on my hair during the long weekends...

hehehehe...went to have my hair permed despite protests from someone...

whats it with guys and permed hair anyways i asked myself. it seems that most guys still prefer gals with long straight hair?

so i went ahead and forked out rm200 to get the business done!

said byebye to my straight hair...

but come the 2nd...3rd.......4th day...............OHHH MY GAWWWDDDD

what is wrong with my curly hair?!?!? something is just not right!!! and i decided today that it looks best when i tie it up =\

and the many "I TOLD YOU SO" look from that someone just doesnt help

and i will never go back to a stylist who makes decision for me without even telling me about it first....cos he CUT OFF MY FRINGE WITHOUT ASKING ME!!!!!!!

A day as a tourist

Was about to hop off to bed earlier tonite when i realised HEY!IVE NOT BEEN BLOGGING FOR A WHILE NOW!

so i just had to dig out my memory card and upload some pics for blogggin!!!

as most of you might have already know...it was a loooooooooooooong weekend for us here in Kuching and we took the opportunity to bring his colleague from UK for a spin around town

and i was acting like a tourist too!...and it was only then that i realised...ive NOT BEEN to many places in Kuching!!

take for example this new architecture

i didnt even know of its existence!!!! when did this big building come out??? when his colleague asked me what is it...i cant even answer him...heh :D

And indeed kuching is a nice city dont you think so?

its just that the toll of our daily routine gets so much to our head that we never stop and admire Kuching in all its beauty

We took a boat ride across the sarawak river (rm1/pax) to visit the Fort Margherita

Its a fort dating back to the rule of the British rulers which was built in 1879 to protect Kuching from surprise attacks from the enemies...it later served as a prison too *shiver*

So after the 10 min boat ride...we had to endure a 5 min walk through bushes and brambles...

and alas...

the fort...

the british and the chinese reminiscing old memories after 127 yrs 'x'

the building actually serves as a police museum now but it was closed when we went there...

pretty isolated and somewhat creepy actually...

who knows what secrets these walls kept?

and did i forget to mention that its my FIRST TIME there???hehehe

well actually there was a lot of 'first times' for me that day...it was my first time to ever visit the much famous fort, it was my first time taking a boat ride across the s'wak river,my first time to ever enter the chinese museum....gosh!

mr 'british tourist' almsot could not believe that im a Kuchingite! 'x'

oh well, at least we had the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors :)

i actually got sunburnt from all the walking we did...unbelievable!! i think ive never walked so much in kuching :P

who needs KK when you have Kuching???wahahahaha

and of course i had the opportunity to dig in together in all the various special dishes in Kuching

it was fun to be a tourist cum tour guide for a day!...perhaps i should start a tour agent business? mwehehehehe

Cream Cracker Pizza

It's time to dish some dirt on our most popular fast food restaurants...wahahaha

this time im picking on PIZZA HUT! muahahahahahahaha...

Have you heard of the new Flaming Sambal pizza?

The one that is oh-so-thin and topped with sambal toppings???

Well..AGAINNNNNNNNNNN curiosity got the better of my common sense...and i just have to fork out rm20+++++ (Incl govt and the service<--almost non-existing tax)

What can i say?

It is sambal...certainly not for those who cannot eat spicy food...for me who can take averagely spicy food...it is sitll too much for me

And it certainly IS crispy...oh yes...it is soooo thin...it actually resembles this :

yup...your normal average cream crackers...so the nxt time u "crave" for flaming sambal pizza...go home and top your favourite brand of cream crackers with sambal!

the most it would cost you would be 2 cents per piece?

hehehehe...

on a brighter note....we here at Sarawak are having 1-2-3-4-FIVE!!!

FIVEFOUR Day holiday!!! WOOT!!! (incl sat and sun)

almost every lady staff i see wear slacks/jeans...hmm and i mostly meet male staff in the corridors too

for those concerned about my new job and how i am doing there..well, im fine thank you! still trying to get myself used to a whole new environment and i do mean NEW! had a bit of culture shock in my first few days :P

Cute kitten i saw at a seafood place last night...at first it was sooo friendly i sayang-ed it with my ciplak croc...

but i think this kitten has great taste cos she seemed to be very attracted to my PINK krok! hehehe...but are cats color blind???

however after a while, the kitten thought she could step all over me which is exactly what she did..she wanted to jump onto my lap...ARGHHHH...
