Ok..as i was chatting or rather emailing with Selba this afternoon, my mom bought some chips from indonesia yesterday.
Yesterday was Indonesia's national day and the Indonesia Consulate here had a food fair!
So my mom went and bought a few packets of these chips...
I have never before seen such chips in my whole life wo!
So i just had to post these up for some verification from Selba..kekeke
The chip had a bitter aftertaste...but the initial bite was quite nice...abit like potato chips :)
Even tho its bitter, after a few pieces, the bitterness gets bearable lor...i think its addiction..haha
My mom said its made from some kinda tree bark???so could it be some unidentified drugs?!? No wonder im feeling a little woozy today..LOL

it tasted bitter then later on you will get addicted on it...
if you look in "my days" blog, yesteray I had my Soto Betawi and emping was on it.
There are 2 kind of emping, the smalls and very big one... Then sometimes, people just eat it plain or with kecap manis, or with salt, but some people pour brown sugar or add chilli... really nice
Ok.. I think I will blog about Emping soon... will show you, how to make emping.. it's from a fruit that we usually cook in sayur asam (sour veggie soup).
