Sisters Day Out

Being the very good and sweet little sister ^_^

I took half day off yesterday to have a sisters day out with my 2 elder sisters without any distracting husbands,pesky bf 'x' and a bawling and whining son...muahahahaha

Ok actually i was clearing my annual leave before i leave my company :P

It has been quite a while since we 3 went out together without those people listed above. I think we used to do that around 10 years back?

The PINK is of cos me lor...green and blue can be either sister,doesnt matter...WAHAHAHA

Thats how little i was back then...kekeke...cos they were over a decade older than me mahhh (hinting their age)

We planned to watch Mr Bean's Holiday but it wasn showing anymore :(

So we went to have lunch at Mr Ho's Fine Dining...

After going round n round town...we decided to try the first ever Secret Recipe outlet in Kuching!

Thats how backdated we r :(

Only now we have secret recipe....sob sob...aww

But with the opening of 5,6,7 new shoppings mall by 2008 i guess we r bound to see more outlets opening here...yippee~..no need to fly over to KL for shoppign anymore ^_^

After that we again could not decide where to go so da jie and i went for a hair cut ^_^

My new hair made me look 5 years younger...good or bad? =\

Must be the fringe...arghhh the stylist! told her not to cut so short liao lorrr!!!! Cannot listen to ppl wan!

So while we were in there...we spotted ....

Two of them....!!! Sorry i only managed to take a picture of his rear cos i dare not take out my camera in front of him for fear that he comes over and shake hands with me!!!

Flying Ants

Have you ever seen flying ants???

I dont mean those big ants-lookalike with very visible wings kind of insects...

these mutants looks 100% like ants and they FLY!!!

It all started one day when i was at my desk and i saw a black ant crawling across my organizer.

So i tried to squash it flat (hee the sadist in me made me do that)

But the ant was GONE!!!! How can it be??? i saw it under my palm just a minute ago leh!!!

look left..look right...omg...it jumped/fly to another side of my organizer...tried to squash it again but i practically saw it escaping my squashing within a second!!!

OMG!i told myself...this is a GHOSTLY ANT! So i look left and right and found the empty what-u-call-it bottle beside me

And i manage to catch myself a flying ant...wahahaha...

Actually i couldnt believe that i actually saw a flying ant la...so i tried to catch it to get some witness

What would people think of me if i had told them HEY I SAW A FLYING ANT rite???so there must be some proof!

I caught it and showed it to she-who-must-not-be-named...i released the ant onto her desk and tried to demo touching the ant...and it REALLY jumped!

But she was not much fun (i mean she-who-must-not-be-named not the ant) cos she said it must b a FLEA cos everything that jumps must be a flea :(

Ok we don play with her...

So i took the (ant still in the bottle) back to my desk and decided to keep it as a pet ^_^

I made tiny holes on the cover of the bottle to let it breath and kept it on my desk......

for a day!

the next day when i came back...the stupid little thing was still moving round and round the bottle trying to find its way out...

but then!!! i saw another flying ant ...this time on my monitor!!! gleefully i caught it with my fingers and put it inside the bottle together with the first flying ant....WAHAHAHA NOW I HAVE TWO!

After a while i saw ANOTHER ONE! this made me panicked...what if the whole community of mutant flying ants came out to get me for capturing two of their people????

So i let the 2 flying ants out :(

But that is not the end of the flying ants story....this morning i saw another one on my desk again...this time i felt fed up already...fly here n tehre....THINK U VERY CLEVER AH?!?!

*smack* *smack* *smack*

Got it the THIRD time...MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...happy

Hey im not being cruel ok? what if the flying ant jumped into my nose?!?! or my ear???

Thats the end of my story but the question remains....WHY IS THERE A FLYING ANT?? AND WHY DO THEY ALL APPEAR IN MY CUBE ONLY??? hmm have you ever seen a flying ant? someone pls give me some explanation! *distressed*

The "Put-Downers"

Throughout life...there is always a kind of person whom i always have the misfortune to meet...that is the put-downers...

Do you know who or what are put-downers???

Its those people who can NEVER be happy on your achievements and who will always find some fault in ALL your achievements to be shoved right into your face!

Does that sound familiar?

They are the people who will always try to make themself feel good whenever someone is better off than them or someone knows more than them...ahhhh then there will be there to let you know that YOU ARE NOT THAT GOOD U KNO???

Very often, they will be there to blow their own trumpets too...

All they wanna do when they hear about your achievement is not to be happy on behalf of you but they want to let you know no matter what you achieve...they are still better...cos your achievement has this and that....and the list goes on...

I hope you get what i mean by now and perhaps maybe you would have some image of someone whos like that in mind....hohoho...

I think ive read somewhere that such people are actually very inferior of themselves and thats why they like to put other people down just so that they can STILL feel good about themselves.

I think thats just an EXCUSE!

Its a really bad habit and its time you do something about it no matter how inferior you are!

Religion is not an issue too...cos ive seen very devout Christians who 'alleluia' every Sunday (or perhaps more) and yet they have the symptoms of a put-downer!

Is it so bad to at least give people some encouragement??? or appreciation??? I know these people...they are always ready to find some faults in you whenever you achieve something and will be the first to rejoice when you meet the first glitch

I am not pin-pointing any ONE person with this post...now that most people i know are reading my blog...but then again, if you are a PUT DOWNER...i think you would have 'felt the pinch' when you read this post huh? >-)

I don want to restrict myself from really saying out what i have in mind now for the fear that i might offend someone i knwo who is reading my blog...cos the truth is...thats YOU im scolding about in my blog!!

On a happier note...for those who are concerned about me on friday the 13th...guess what??? i did not fall down~~woohooo~

But i was EXTRA careful the whole day 'x'

I guess it must be all the pressure of NOT FALLING DOWN on friday the 13th...haha!

Healthy Dinner

Received an email yesterday claiming that bananas are very good anti-depressant food...

GOOD!!!

No need to waste money on shopping when you r stressed nxt time...kekeke

So hmmm decided to have some BANANA MILKSHAKE for dinner..yummy yum...

Rummaged around for the material...

Slice up the banana...a pretty big one too!!...really bigggggggggggggg

Dont know where it came from....hmmm....i think its as long as both my hands put together...

Dump everything into the blender...

Thats wat i love most about shakes...just dump everything in and press the button...muahahaha how nice

Im gonna make every kind of shakes the world could imagine for my husband and children nxt time...banana milkshake,chocolate milkshake,strawberry milkshake and the list goes on...

SHHHHHHHHH musnt let that someone know...

And ta dahhhhhhh...

So while i was enjoying my milkshake in front of the pc ... something came in via file transfer...

One day i reached my office to find a crowd gathering...so the keipo inside me went to see what all the hoo-ha was about...

And saw all of them looking at tupperware containers...selling for RM4

Without much thinking i bought myself a tupperware...

Felt so proud of myself for buying such a CHEAP tupperware container...but when i walked up to my desk...i seemed to be unable to think of WHAT to put inside such a small container...hmmm....ciak lat!

first signs of becoming an 'AUNTIE'!

Buying tupperwares like theres no tomorrow...

Went to Minoru Japanese Restaurant at Rubber Road last week...

Had a not so cold, cold soba...

Conclusion : not nice and expensive...muahaha

But i heard that their sashimi is nice...but didnt order that .... will go back to try their sashimi one day


On Good Friday, accompaniedRed Sponge to have her manicure done...

Me being the SOUNDBOX just have to accompany her there to entertain her while both her hands are being held captive....

After that...i caught sight of a new stall at the Jln Song foodcourt...

Supposedly Japanese food...which i did not think look very japanese to me


Its actually savoury pieces of flour balls with bits of carrots...

fried golden and topped with mayonnaise and some shredded God-knows-what...

With sotong inside...

Taste-wise its not bad la...

Actually brought Red Sponge there again to try it but it was not open :(

Then early early on saturday morning i went to have this done...

GIGGLE..took this in the toilet when the nurse asked me to PAN JIO into the kong...

Trying very hard to 'IMPRESS' the nurse with nice clean urine...i had 500ml of water on my way to the hospital...MUAHAHAAHAH

Ok thats gross...musnt elaborate on that

After that we brought the kid to see this...

Dinosaur exhibits by petrosains...

But then we were greeted with this...

Long queue..........

A word of advice to those who wish to visit the DINO-TREK, the tickets are sold like movie tickets...

They have fixed times for the tour starting from 8.30 am i think...once the ticket is sold out, you will have to wait till the next showing...

Didnt get to go in cos the nxt tour was at 3.30pm and it was only 11am while we were there...

Whats so great about a couple of FAKE dinosaurs???

Had to pull the long-faced kid back into the car much to his dismay :(

On sunday...i had loverly....

Duck egg yolk soft shelled crab!

YUMMY!!!

And ice cream cake...

Its the KID'S 6th birthday (Okok the kids my nephew la)

Hard to imagine that short guy is already 6 yrs old...muahahaa

Had to exercise my a$$ off after that...kekeke

Then 2nite...i discovered another new stall at jln song...

Selling cheesy potato chips and some sandwiches

We both loved this very much...thinly sliced potato fried and topped with cheese...mmmmmmm

So thats all to my photoblog...very bored with everything now *sigh*

Taking the Plunge

Today marks a very important day in my career...

I resigned from my very first job!!!!!!

boohooohooo...3 years is not a short time ok?

Thats how long it took me to finish my degree....

Along the way i met nice people and not so nice people and met BITCHES AND BASTARDS!

hmm ok lets not get into that one...

And most important of all...this job got me ready for the real working world...its my first job after all! =)

So just now i gathered up all courage left in me...and submitted my resignation letter to my boss...

I really did that with a heavy heart even tho ive *cough*complained about the company many times before...

My boss being such a good guy makes it even harder!!! SOB

But most of all...i m gonna miss 4 very wonderful people whom i met throughout the course of my service....i would never have thought that i can make such good friends from colleagues

Then again life goes on and what must be done must be done....afterall, i will still be in kuching rite??? :)

I think im going to have to take a walk down memory lane when i clear up my desk...*SIGH*

Saying goodbye is never easy.... and changing jobs is ALSO not easy!

Wish me luck for my new job now....very nervous ah!!!

What I Hate Most

Theres this thing which i really really hate now...

And ironically its PINK!!!...damn you stupid phone..of all the colors how could you be pink!!!

But then again..its not my preferred pink 'x'

This is what i called dirty pink..muahahaha..but i gez its more towards magenta :P

This stupid phone hoh!!...Located at a vacant seat nxt to mine has a 'habit' of ringing thrice and then it stops...thrice and stop...thrice and stop

If im lucky enuf...it will ring in that pattern for around 6/7/8 times...great!

It usually takes me 3 rings to find my shoes from underneath my chair (shhh my little secret...i usually take off my shoes at work) and to get up to answer the phone mah!...

By the time i reach the phone,it would have stopped!..Stupid phone!!! CANNOT RING PROPERLY AH?!?!??!?

If i have my way, i will unplug the telephone cable and throw the phone from the 3rd floor!!

Ahem...ok sorry for the sudden violence...hmmm sorry for lack of 'SOUND' on my part...these few days have been full of thinking and more thinking that i have no brain matter left for blogging 'x'

Freezing Friday

After reading all the posts posted by several bloggers already...ive decided that i MUST try Charmy Snow

By hook or by crook also must go...

So i arrange with my 'date' to go 2nite!!...yay~

very excited ..cos its our 'first' date after all ^_^

B4 i comment anything about the snow ice...i must compliment them on the very icy cool interior...it really gives the kind of COOL feeling :P

Actually we were both freezing inside...must b bcos of all the fake snow and igloos and cute penguins ...playing games on our mind

But no pics taken on the icy cool interior cos there were just too many people...hee so i just took pics of these nice nice rows of bottled flowers

Very special rite??? will go back again just to take more pics of these...wahahah

There are quite a variety of snow ice...from milk,green tea,coffee,chocolate,etc....

Abit disapointed to see that instead of chocolate syrup they put chocolate rice instead =\
very 'cheap' feeling...kekeke

But still oklah...altho i hardly taste any milk in my supposedly milk-flavoured-snow ice

My 'date' *ahem* ordered blablabla marie biscuit snow ice...hehehe...forgot the name d

Those brown little bits are marie biscuit crumbs...hmm don ask me how it taste like ...i dare not steal a bite from my date since its our first date waaa...

All in all...a special place to go esp when the weather is HOT ...

We finished both our snow ice in less than 1/2 hour...so siao lee oooooo...how can first date finish in 1/2 hour?!?!?! haihhh....its a good thing we are not really really on a FIRST DATE...cos if we were...i don think the relationship would work out...

cos our dates have been one failure after another...hahahaha

Not wanting to go home so early...we went to another venue...DAYDREAMING...

Sad dinner

I threatened to cut off sotong's tentacles when he/it touched my Nintendo DS last nite

I said i will chop it off one by one and make it into sotong kangkung...muahahaa

Of cos i only say say lah...

But just now i went to have BBQ Sambal Sotong for dinner...

Looks pretty harmless to me during my first n 2nd bite...but i think it was either my 3rd or 4th bite when i bit into something grainy and rough...

hmmm doesn taste like sotong to me!!!..

guess what i just ate???

Yes i actually ate SAND!!! gggrrrr....

i think the sotong din take a bath lah!!!

hmph...so very angry...the sotong spoilt my dinner...my mouth still tasted of grainy sand even after i spat out most of it... :(

So just continue eating the rest of my dinner... (no more sotong for me)...

The kid opposite me puked out her dinner...RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!
