Pink pink gadget!

Still remember my pink pink gadget that i introduced to you all few weeks ago?

Hehehe....since i lurrvee it so much..i think i shud do it some justice and blog about it lah

Let 'her' become the star in my blog for a while...and yes ive decided to call my nintendo DS Lite 'HER' bcos shes pink...so naturally it shud b a SHE rite???

DS Lite is not a new toy in the market ...before that, there was the predecessor ... called Nintendo DS

It is BIG and BULKY and the pink is just not in my preferred shade...and therefore i wasnt even interested in it..*chuckle*

In the beginning, before Nintendo DS Lite was created...everyone had to play with these bulky DS

Then Nintendo said let there be NINTENDO DS LITE...and there was nintendo DS Lite...God Nintendo saw how good nintedo DS Lite was ...

So baby PINK, so shiny, so slim.........

I realised that some of you who are not DS-familiar did not notice that it actually has a touch screen

See??? Isnt it a revolutionary way of playing games???

Nintendo revolutionized game-playing further by adding in a microphone!

Now you can look like an idiot and be found speaking to your DS in public!!!

Best of all, it has WiFi and Bluetooth!!

Sad to say that i've not yet tried the WiFi but it allows you to play games online with other players and there's even a DS Browser which supposedly enables you to surf the net

With a gadget so pink, who needs a PDA? :)

p/s it made me RM570 poorer (just in case anyone's interested mah!)

Another knot gets tied

Attended another wedding yesterday...my very first wedding for the year 2007 :)

It was the wedding of my colleague who's also the sister of 2 of a very very very old friend of mine :)

This is a very small world lah!!!

I love everything about weddings because its when we gals get to dress up nicely and to put on our best makeup and best hair do

The only 2 things that i do not like about weddings is ... the gift-giving-part and the when-is-ur-turn part....hahahaha...

But on the whole...weddings are still pretty nice events... lol

As i got ready for the dinner last nite and started packing in my necessities into my small small dinner clutch..

I started to wonder lor...how isit possible to put all the things which i normally bring out into this TINY purse ???

I had to forego my purse and to just put in a rm50 note,my driving license,my identity card and of cos my handphone,my house n car keys and alas...no space for my camera!!

Thought of not bringing my camera with me but how can we gals camwhore without a camera??? cannot cannot..die die must bring camera...so i had to resort to hanging my camera on my wrist by its strap :( so UNglamorous!

Thats when i most miss SOMEONE...if he was going to the dinner with me...i would not have to bring money *snicker*,driving license (cos no need to drive ma), and i can simply let him carry my camera...

AHHH the many purposes of a boyfriend...HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAA

hee..it really has been so so long since my last update...

The year of the pig is really getting to me!!!

I feel really really lazy and unmotivated to even turn on my pc...

Why i was even too lazy to take a nap just now and too lazy to do anything at all...in fact i was even too lazy to eat..!!!

I think im turning into a PIG..helppppp...

Its no wonder i got awarded with this last week...

I was chatting with Chen tonite and she pestered asked me to show her my old old pics...

At first i dont want lah...but she said she put jampi on me and made me go dig out my old pics

I said i don have scanner...but she gave me very detailed instructions on how to ciplak those hard copy pics ...so i really have no choice but to show them to her...

Then after taking pics of my baby pics hoh...i found myself *cough* quite cute last time ... so i think i shud post them up...

KFC fails yet again!

Went to try out the new kfc fish fingers...no we did not purposely go there just to try it ...hmm someone just wanted to order it at the last minute so why not since its his treat 'x'

At first glance, it looks pretty much like the frozen fish fingers which you can buy from the frozen food section of your average neighbourhood friendly supermarket which you can buy home and fry...RIGHT RIGHT???

Only difference is......... the frozen fish fingers taste much much better!!! Look...

80% flour and 20% fish ..yayyy -_-"

And not forgetting to mention that it tastes very fishy!!!...after only half a piece..the rest is for him to finish! it was his treat after all...*cough*

Still suckling piglet

What with yesterday being chap goh meh and all ... we bought a suckling roast crispy crunch juicy piglet for lunch...mwehehehe

Altho i think its rather cruel to be grabbing away the piglet while he/she is still suckling away to be MURDERED and ROASTED to crispy perfection ... i think he/she taste quite good =)

speaking of piglets ... i have been pigging out for the most of yesterday :)))))

I am quite amazed and impressed with my ability to be awake for only 9 hours for the whole of yesterday!!!!!!!...WAHAHAHAHAH *proud*

FIVE is abit ma fan lerr...do you need five reasons to start a blog? i think one shud be enuf la...hmm anyway lets get on with it

1. This is the truth and nothing but the whole truth, the most initial reason for this blog horr...is abit mushy mushy lar...kekeke.hmm he had to go elsewhere for a few months that time and i was sort of bored so i started this blog to write about my day so that he can read it from where he is...giggle...so are YOU still reading my blog huh???? hellooooooooo????

CNY Post

Wowww...have been absent for more than a week! =))

To be honest, i did not even turn on my pc for the whole of Cny week and when i started work yesterday it felt quite weird to be typing on a keyboard and clicking with a mouse :D

Ive been away from work for so long that i think im beginning to be allergic to work 'x'

Ok anyway...i just wanted to post something 2nite lar..since it has been quite a while since my last post but i was quite clueless as to WHAT to post...

So i went thru my camera and saw mostly cny-related pics...so okay...i m going to blog abt my cny~...yay~

Ok here we go...

On my last day of work b4 the long cny vacation...i finally got my..........

muahhh muahhhh...my LOVELY PINK GADGET~!!!

Isnt it so pweety??? so sleek??? so smooth??so...so.......PINK? =))))))))))

Oh btw b4 i got carried away by its PINKness...its a Nintendo DS Lite but we'll leave that for another day

So i made these for CNY ...

its a seaweed whatever wrapped in poh-piah skin...very IN nowadays

you can find it in almost EVERY house you visit :P

On cny's eve we had the usual big big feast and also the VIP DISH ...

YEE SANG!

Personally, i think this is a very stupid dish...cos it tastes yucky and its not cheap for a plate of mixed shredded vege and God-knows-what-they-put-inside

It gave me a headache after i ate some unidentified stuff which tasted pretty funky O_O

Ok on to the fireworks~~

I tried to take some nice firework pics at the strike of midnite on new yrs eve but it was raining so these blurry not so sharp photos will just have to do

And while i was busy trying to take pictures of the fireworks in front of my house...i nearly got FRIED by my neighbour's kids' gone-haywire-fireworks

Kuching was once again a battlefield on cny's eve....it always is on cny's eve :)

1. I HATE it when ppl don respect me when they purposely talk to me when they OBVIOUSLY know im on the phone!!! stupid ka??? blind ka??? cannot wait till i m off the line ah??????? but this smart guy hoh!!...actually talked LOUDLY to me TWICE while i was on the phone to the point that i had to cut off my line just to hear to him crap!!! go to *toot* OK!?




2. So i walked to my car at the end of the work day to find what????? Another smart guy/lady parking soooooooooooooooo near to me that i almost could not get into my car!!!
   
   thanks to me for having had diarrhea for the last few days, i could squeeeeze inside my car!!! DIE YOU *toot toot*




3. So i calmed myself down and drove myself home...i admit i was driving quite fast cos the traffic light in front of me was green ma...so i hv to speed up so that i could get thru b4 it turns yellow. but this 'AUNTIE' hoh!!!...oredi saw me coming from far and yet she wanted to turn out from a junction even when i horned her once,twice...and she still came out when i was already sooooooooo near! i had to emergency brake and i HORNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEDDDDDDDDDDDD her stupid a$$ off!!! but still she went out from her stupid junction!!! i remember her car plate! stupid silver kembara QKU90*2 don let me see you!!!




4. Then just now ... while we were driving back from our v day dinner (*ahem ahem*) someone actually cut into our line and almost knocked into his car! and you know what??? he even had the nerve to glare at us once twice! WHAT??? expect us to give way to you just bcos u r driving a bloody volvo?!?!? sumore letting his kid sit on his lap while driving!




5. And so after the encounter with that IDIOT!!!!!!!!! we drove to the Rock Road MAYBANK to deposit in some money for my gadget (p/s im buying a PINK gadget online!!! ^_^ will show you guys once i get it) and!!!! this stupid cash deposit machine is OUT OF SERVICE!! i tell you what??? this PARTICULAR CASH DEPOSIT MACHINE OF MAYBANK IS ALWAYS OUT OF SERVICE 9 OUT OF TIMES WE NEED TO DEPOSIT MONEY!!!! speaking of STUPID SERVICE!!!!!!!

FUHH FUHHH okok i will calm down...perhaps thats y i was suffering from Irritable bowel syndrome for the past few days...i consulted with the almighty-ever-so-pro Dr Chen and she said it might be due to stress that i kept on lao sai...wahahaha

hmmm i know this post is really INappropriate for V DAY EVE...but these all really happened to me 2day ma :(((

Someone gave the puppy to us (its a SHE) bcos her mama gave birth to 1o puppies at one time!!!...tsk tsk tsk....so keng ah

So this is sort of like an unplanned pregnancy adoption (sorry the word 'unplanned' and 'pregnancy' just sorts of link together)

hehehe...shes so adorable even tho i think she looks abit weird ..oops!

could b her nose and her eyes lo...her nose is light brown just in case u didnt notice...unlike other dogs

their noses are usually black :P

the puppy is so cute lor...i just love puppies..they r so warm n cuddly... :D

meanwhile...in another dark corner...

kekekeke we didnt neglect her la...she just likes to make herself look pitiful...

i put the puppy and angel (the lonely dog) together just now and guess what the puppy did????at first she (puppy) was sniffing at angel lovingly like that lah...then hoh...she started to sniff lower down and u kno what???....HAAAA..she was trying to find MILK!

That Angel so useless wan..she got so scared...wanted to run away pulak!...*slap head*

hahaah the little baby dono this Angel doesnt have any milk for her cos she will never ever be a mother (shhhhhhh don tell her this 'x')

ok bye2 now...lets hope i can sleep 2nite with all the puppy cries :)))))

Life is Short

Hi there

gonna be bz for the nxt few days...cos my bf's grandpa passed away :\

so there's the usual 7 nights of prayers...

Attending funerals and watching the family members n friends grieve for their loss always makes me think deeply about life

I cant help but wonder about a lot of things...

Like...how does it feel to die? what do i see when i die?where do i go? when is my time? and how will i die?

I mean chinese usually treat these stuffs with high superstitions, some more old-fashioned chinese even forbid anyone to even mention the word 'DIE'...but we DIE one day...no matter what...no one is immortal

I used to be very afraid of looking at dead bodies when i was little...

Whenever i look at dead people i will keep on imagining their pale lifeless faces when i close my eyes and that makes me really really scared...i guess too much horror movies is not good for kids :P

I will avoid to look at any dead body by hook or by crook...no paying of last respects for me cos i don wanto keep the image of that lifeless face in my mind....

But as i grew up, i started to think more openly...

I dared to look at and pay my last respects...i mean its only right ma

I think its very impolite to be avoiding it as if they r ghosts or something ... cos you are going to be one lifeless body lying in a coffin SOMEDAY ...its inevitable

And i dont know whether any of you've realised it but we tend to reflect on things and to stop in the midst of our busy life and THINK...whenever someone we know passed on...

We would bcome all sentimental and we would emphatise with the family members of the deceased no matter how distant or how close we are with them...it doesnt matter anymore

I guess its just a human instinct instilled in each and everyone of us :)

With that...i would like to quote a para from one book which inspired me greatly...

My Pair of Buaya

Went shopping with my nephew and sis yesterday afternoon when my nephew insisted on buying a pair of pirated Croc...and since its pirated hoh...we shall call it KROK for the rest of this post...

These are the REAL thing! Not much difference hoh? 'x'

So while they were busy browsing around ... i caught sight of a pink Krok...and i can wear the largest size of the kids range wo!!!..WAHAHAHAHA..its a bargain!!!

RM19.90 only!!!! cheap or wat??? I bought it without a second thought

For the adult range of the pirated KROK..its rm29.90 i think...

So i got all excited to be bringing home a bargain so i wore it out on my saturday night out with him :D

And even before i stepped into his car hoh...he scrolled the window down and sneered looked at my pweety pink Krok in disgust..

He said it looks very cheap and toy-like :(

But nooo that did not deter me from wearing my Krok on its virgin-nite-out 'x'

And oh boy!!!...its very comfortable!!! (considering its PIRATED)

and its springy!!!...

i can RUN in it!!!

and my feet didnt even feel tired after all the walking around!!!

and its washable!!!

and its ..erm erm ...its all thing good can??!!

Oh boy i really lurrrrrrrrrrveeeeeeeeee my KROK

The ONLY downside to it all isssssss...

its pretty UGLY

WAHAHAHA

But i guess all comfy shoes are ugly shoes and all pretty shoes are uncomfortable shoes :D

Lets forget about STYLE for once and keep our feet comfy~

Wearing it is like not wearing ANY shoe at all!...its THAT comfy!!!

Im gonna wear it everywhere from now on...perhaps to work 2moro??? :P

Do you still remember those 20 cents per packet 'keropok' (junk food) we used to buy at our primary school canteen?

Hehehe...i remember them all quite clearly...and even the names as well...but there's THIS 'keropok' which i can really remember very well cos its YUMMY! and i think the main reason is bcos it is exceptionally little for 20cents worth of keropok :P

Back then, you could only buy very very small packet...but few yrs back i started to see bigger packets of these stuffs on sale in supermarkets ... and of cos we 'sapu' them all la..hehehe

I think this muruku has been around for at least 20 years already! O_O

The bigger packet costs RM2.50 and its still EXCEPTIONALLY little for the price...wahahaha

But then horr....i noticed something on the packet...

No play-play oh!...now they even have a website!!! www.thiencheong.com.my

Expecting the web site to be some crappy web site with nothing except for a front page... i typed the url into my browser and instead...found quite an extensive site detailing all their products!!

Hehehehe...technology has really changed our way of life...

And the funny thing is...i found this on the packet...

Gearing up for CNY :)

just got back from almost 3 hours of chemical treatment and having my head being surrounded by the heat and noise of hairdryers :)

heee....i got my hair dyed.........

just in time for Chinese new year ...WOOT!

And no ... i did not dye my hair PINK

I got a job to keep ok?

It can be quite tiring to be sitting on the saloon chair for 3 hours straight with only comic books as entertainment

And little chats from the hairdressers doesnt help ok? i m just not in the mood to be talking...muahahaha..i m mean >-)

Just in case anyone's interested...it costed me RM110 just to dye my hair lor...

But at least i got the job done rite??? not like *cough* someone *cough* :D

I know some people gonna be surprised 2moro :)

But its gonna be MY year nxt lunar year bohhhhhhhhh
