Had a hurried lunch cos i had to send my daughter for check up...

The sign says : YOUR CAR GETS SERVICED IN 1 HOUR OR ITS FREE~

CHEAT!!!! they finished my car in 1 hour 15 mins...free or not???

But i din complain lar...cos they provided me with free internet service...

while allowing me to monitor them while they service my daughter car

and what more!....they gave us free drinks wo!!

i am one happy ball of pink cotton ^_^

but i guess the same cannot be said for these ppl...

they seem don seem to be in a good mood judging from their serious faces...

unlike yours truly who was busy taking pics like this...

went to All Joy saberkas for dinner...

have been wanting to blog about this place for a loooooong time...but never got to do it..

i really really don understand how could they survive for soo soo many years with lousy food like that!!!!

Yeah i know its a little too late for hari raya visiting and a little too early for new year visiting...

Take Things Slow

Anyway i murdered a snail just now!!!!!!!!!

yeargfghhhh.... i stepped on something squishY+crunchy outside my house just now and OMG!! its a snail!!!
the worst thing was it was still squirming around with all the broken pieces of shell!...must have been in excruciating pain :(

i have a thing about snails...love to see them crawling slowly n gently ... they r gentle creatures!
i remember i used to fight for their right to live with my classmate who loved to step on them...insane or wat

felt so guilty for murdering that one...i looked around n saw another one crawling slowly minding its own business

i hope i dint drive over this one when i drove inside my car porch!!

The Cactus Tragedy

Do you still remember the little cacti plant my fren gave me a few mths ago?

The very green and healthy plant...hehehe

Look wat happend to it few weeks ago...

OMG!!!!!!!!!

I was looking at it when i accidentally dropped it and it toppled on my desk! hehehe i carefully picked it up and this is what it looked like...

Ok let me just be frank...as much as i would have liked to blame the plant's sad demise on the little 'fall' .... the actual case is...it was dying anyway! 'x'!!!

There is something really ironic about me and plants...they just cant seem to survive under my care! wahahahaa

The shrivelled looking thing is still on my desk not sure what to do with it ... hmm 'x'

And the worst thing is.....my supervisor has asked me to take care of her plants while shes away for the week!!!!!!!!!!

Someone told me to jot down the species of her little potted plants so that i can buy it from the florist if it...............................................you know....*shrug*

I know i m soooooooo very outdated to have only watched Ratatouille now bopien la have to wait for the clear dvd 'x'...but for those who have yet to watch it....i say....U MUST WATCH IT! :)

It has been a long long time since i last watched a DisneyPixar animation that is this good!

Lovely storyline...amazing animations...nice music!! splendid!

SO IN LOVE WITH IT! hehehe...now that teaches us something about how we should treat the rats we find in our kitchens...perhaps theres a Remy among them???

And this movie inspired me so much...i must visit Paris one day!...ahhh what a city.

A Patch of Fluffy Grass

I always have to drive thru a lot of uninhabited and undeveloped land to and from work everyday...

For the past few months it has always been green grassy large patches of grass and once there was even a bush fire leaving a darkened,browned area behind

But on Monday...something extraordinary caught my eye...

Those lovely very very white patches of grass! From the corner of my eye, it looked as tho that area is snow covered .... hehehehe...

My Little Blue Elephant

I made something during the long weekends...

hehehehe...made out of 2 blue pompoms tied together...

gave it to mr bf after i finished it but he pointed out that its supposed to look like THIS...

not this wacky blue elephant with the wild eyes...

hmmmmmmmmmm...i guess something did go wrong somewhere...

but i managed to produce a pink pom pom hairclip as a by-product...

still contemplating on whether i should wear it out and whether i will get weird stares...hmmmm it looks TOO home made :P

anyway...i have been busy taking care of my mom's flowers for the past 3 weeks and for the first 2 weeks....they were barely surviving!!!....

i was soooooooo worried....its not that i did not water them u kno??? i watered them EVERYDAY without fail!!...i even tried talking to them....but they remained as dry as ever... :(((

you know how i am...i have BROWN thumb..any plant under my care turn out..........HEH HEH HEH....*cut throat*

I even had nightmares about the dying plants ...i really did!

but just few days ago.......the plants started sprouting new leaves...

and yesterday....i spotted some flower buds!

HALLELUJAH!!!..ITS A MIRACLE!!!

Long Weekends

Enough about the handsome astronaut...its time to get back to some real posts no?

hehehe nothing much happened in the past few days la...except that it was the raya hols!!!YAY!! and its now over..!!! BOO!!!

We made some pizza during the hols tho...

Nice yummy localised pizza with australian button mushrooms,luncheon meat,cheese and garlic...YUM!

i think it tastes better than pizza hut's!...kekekekeke....

the long weekends is over n theres nothing much to look fwd to anymore except that......im going on another vaca in 9 days time!!!! YAY!! WOOHOOO...WHEE.....................

Happy faces and sad pockets...thats the whole ugly truth about vacations...

So you want to be an astronaut???

Just finished watching the live telecast of the launching of the Soyuz spacecraft with our very first malaysian in space on board...

What do i have to say??? no comments...just wondering how the that money we as the taxpayers pay could be better spent elsewhere...

then again...

anyhow...the guy hosting the live telecast just now said next yr there is going to be another competition for the next malaysian astronaut (our money gone again!!!) ... the criteria are as follows : above 21 yrs old of age, your waist must not exceed 40cm and your thighs put together must not exceed 40 cm...WHY???

bcos if u exceed 40cm...then you wont be able to fit into the soyuz spacecraft...HAR DE HAR HAR ... i think that was hilarious lor....

but i think i meet all the criteria *ahem* So can i be the next astronaut???my mission will be to BLOG IN OUTER SPACE...! now thats something isnt it??? better than making teh tarik in space...

and i thought the making teh tarik thingy was just something that malaysians conjured up to make fun of the malaysian space programme...but i found this while looking for photos just now :

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's first astronaut will do what no one in space has done before: play traditional Malay children's games without gravity.
The astronaut - yet to be selected - will play "batu seremban,'' or "five stones'' and spin traditional Malay tops in space, Agriculture Ministry parliamentary secretary Rohani Abdul Karim told parliament on Wednesday.
Rohani, who was replying on behalf of the Science, Technology and Innovations Ministry, said the astronaut would also do batik painting and making teh tarik.

Pinkcotton strikes back!

WAHAHAHA...thats 2 post in 3 days!!!

Pinkcotton.blogspot.com is finally coming back to life!...but then...the time is now 11.08pm...i need to finish this in 10 mins time...tick tock tick tock...time is running out...

Went to try out a new place near the new 101 mall...i really hope you guys know where im talking about...its very near the new choice premier...

The place is called Asian Recipe which was discovered by miss oranges...who is "local" in that area :P

Since we r celebrating 13th Panda's advance bday...we decided that it will be nice to go try out a new place lah...

For appetizer we had...

Vietnamese spring rolls (rm3 for 3)
verdict : not bad lah...it is not ur regular fried spring rolls...it is filled with rice vermicelli and other stuff...but overall not bad lah...

and thai pandan chicken...rm3 or rm4 cant remember...cheaper than other restaurants in kch thats for sure

but hor...miss bday gal had a surprise in store for her....her pandan chicken was not cooked!....and i don mean bloody-not-cooked....but...NOT COOKED-NOT COOKED!!!!!

THE HORROR!!!

u kno la...it looks very raw inside...and so she called for the waitress...who took her whole plate away together with the rice and said WE WILL REPLACE IT FOR YOU.

and we were all chuckling away telling her how lucky she is cos she is going to have a free meal 2nite....but nooooooo...

after a few minutes..the waitress brought back the exact same plate with the rice still in the exact same arrangement but with little tiny pieces of browned meat...

and the waitress proudly announced that we've re-cooked the meat for you...now its cooked

^%%$^$ .... at least give her a new piece of pandan chicken can or not???

nxt we had ... belacan midin

nothing to shout about...

but the same cannot be said about the tomyam soup...

it was soooo hot... i almost had smoke coming out of my ears!!!
no kidding wan...

so...what can i say about this new place??? i hope they will improve soon cos the place does have nice ambience with affordable prices and friendly staff and owners

and the biggest surprise came when someone told us that the owner was previously from the thai restaurant in lok thian...

surprised bcos...we were bz comparing the food with lok thian's bangkok thai restaurant the whole nite and asian receipe failed quite terribly lah....how leh?

p/s time is now 11.22pm...ive failed this time!!!!!!!!

Red Bomb

Been hit with another "red bomb" .... this time from my old classmate...

Seems that i always have something to say about every wedding dinners i attend dont i?hehe

This is the first classmate wedding dinner ive attended...and it sure was nice meeting all the long lost friends once again...some ive not met for 7 long years!!!

The ladies grow prettier and the guys grow fatter...HA HA HA ...

But one things for sure...wedding dinners are never a good place for catching up with long lost friends...esp when you are sitting right next to loud booming speakers -_-"

Shouting out where you work across the table to compete with the loud speakers is not exactly a nice way to catch up isnt it?
