Milestone

HEE...

Today my blog reached another milestone....

That is....

TA DAAHHHH! ive finally reached my 10000th counter =))))

Tho it may not mean much for those whose counter have reached hundreds over thousand...it does mean a lot to me

It is after all my first 10k ok?

seeing that this is another milestone for my blog...i think it is only rigth that i give a short speech..HOR???

Throughout these 1 yr ++ of blogging ... i've realised writing skills which i never knew i had...and most importatnly i've found NEW FRIENDS thru blogs...this is really special ..

Many a times ive thought of quitting...YEAP I DID!

But after few days of hiatus (sigh i can never go on hiatus for more than a week 'x') i still come back after reading all your comments and your blog posts... i just cant bear to let you all have the fun in the blogsphere without me...MUAHAHA

So thank you all!!!! =)

What a day

hi there.... im barely surviving thru this post...my eyes will close any minute but i just have to post these up simply because i wanto push my previous post to the bottom since so many people are speculating my marriage from the previous post...MUAHAHAHA...

So this post will have to be in point form...kekekeke and here we go!


Woke up 1/2 hour earlier than usual and had to beat the traffic to church...



Reached church just 15 minutes before the mass started..MWEHEHEHE

What to do... there's the usual weekday morning traffic jam to beat

Took my position and its music time till my fingers hurt with blisters



And someone said i m getting fatter~!!

The very nerve...!!!

*take deep breath* OK OK i m cool....*take another deep long breath*

One wedding down...and another one to go...

Took pictures ...socialised a bit and im off in my little car...

To deliver the slideshow to another wedding couple...

Couple is happy .... i m happy too...

and VROOM i go back to my house...

to SLEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

after 1/2 hour of heavenly bliss...took a hurried lunch and its off to the office...

3.30 hours of bug killing later....

Walked as fast as i could to my car which was parked further than usual...

Had a wedding dinner to catch just 1 hour after finishing time...

and OH NOOOOOOOOO

someone blocking my car....

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

Stupid stupid stupid....OK *take deep deep breath*

Waited for stupid to move his car and VROOOM i go again....

Reached home at 6

Jumped into the shower and got ready by 630...YAY!

Reached the reception at 7 (it starts at 6.30...mwehehehe but its malaysian time la..wat do u expect 'x')

Eat eat eat....



Sharing a table with complete strangers except for him and another ex coursemate of ours...

HEE so sweet to see our coursemate finally tying the knot....

I cant get my mind off the fact that someone said i've put on weight...

So off we go to have a late nite supper...

Almsot dozed off on the table and its time to go home...

finally!!!

i m ALMOST free from all the favours i've promised a few wedding couples :)

I must apologise for being so quiet these few weeks...some blogs i've not visited at all and some i managed to secretly visit while in the office...mwehehehe

It is really the season of weddings lah.....lets see how many wedding invites i've received since october..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...*counting*...


....FIVE!!!...a whopping FIVE WEDDING INVITES... 2 of which i had to reject...WAHAHAHA...


Five wedding invites is certainly pretty taxing on my pockets lo...so if u see me chewing on grass from the roadside for lunch...u kno why...

And the more obvious reason for my lack of updates is partly due to the fact that i've promised one of the couple to do their wedding slideshow which is already done...well ALMOST... YAY!! which is the reason why im rejoicing rite now :P

And 2moro i had to take the morning off to help out another acquaintance with the music for their wedding mass =)

Which made me wonder lorr...

You see i help so n so do this n that...play music for their wedding mass..blablabla...

BUT ...

Will THEY help me on MY wedding???

This i doubt :(

Cos im sure by that time they might be busy taking care of their children or what-nots...then whos gonna help me leh??? boohoohooo...

I think im at a lost here cos most of my acquaintance are older than me and therefore they get married earlier than me lo!...HAIYOH...

Perhaps i should start making friends with kiddos...HAHAHA...

So who will help me with my wedding??? Will YOU??? kekekeke...

One Sentence

Night of Classic Concert

Last night i was at a concert performed by the state symphony orchestra with one of its musicians being..........................our dear AH MAO! kekeke

Thanks to him i manage to get 2 tickets for the concert lo...thanks so much...don 4get me the nxt time u hv free tickets...muahaha

Everyone dressed smartly in black =)

Its a good thing i was in black too and not my usual PINK...LOL!

They performed really well...i was captivated by the melodious classical pieces the whole nite... its like listening to a classical cd leh! no play play ... kekeke

I've always had a thing for classical music...to be honest, classical music brought me through most parts of my life as a student...wahaha

I always listen to classical music whenever im studying :P

Until........................

I was pulled into the dark side of pop songs and noisy music...LOL

I will go n pull out my collection of classical cds after typing this post...they r collecting lots n lots of dust in a shoe box...kekeke...

The Modern Tooth Fairy

I got home yesterday to be greeted with a nephew who was grinning widely from ear to ear...

Guess what happened???

HEE...he lost his very very first milk tooth =)

So he was pretty excited about it all and i had the opportunity to be the one to tell him all about the Tooth Fairy and the shiny coin he will get the nxt morning under his pillow

His eyes shone brightly upon hearing about the shiny coin...

You and i both know there's no such thing as a tooth fairy (is there??)...its just the mom or dad of the little kid taking away the tooth secretly from under the pillow and replacing it with a coin.

So i gave a knowing smile to my sister (his mom) when i told him about the money the tooth fairy would give him in exchange for the tooth...and i told him that if the 'tooth fairy' gave him any less than RM1...i will give the 'tooth fairy' a good scolding...MUAHAHA

I gave my sister a call just now to ask her how my nephew reacted this morning when he woke up...and she said he was very excited to see the money under his pillow which is alright...

But the thing is .... he told his mom that if the tooth fairy would give him RM1 for every tooth that he loses...then he's gonna pull out all his teeth and earn lots n lots of money!!!

Oh well,I guess you just cant tell the kids of today a fairy tale...... :p

A Sweet Dream or A Nightmare?

At least one would be sitting on ur feet waiting for you to pat him and another would be putting his head on ur lap giving you a 'puppy-eyed' look and before you realise it!

There would be one licking ur feet from underneath the chair...WAHAHAHA



And they all look almost similar that i just dont know who is who...



Ahh..don care who is who la...just pat pat pat pat...



Well if you dont pat them....they will keep on nudging you until you do!



For me, this is certainly a sweet dream la....

HEE imagine having lots and lots and lots of furry cute little puppies surrounding you...


Each only want a pat on the head and a scratch behind the ear =)

But for some people, this is certainly a NIGHTMARE!

A very big scary nightmare....i think i should bring her there one of these days!WAHAHAHA

I saw the very first christmas tree of the year on display in town just now....SO EXCITED!

Wedding Dinner

As promised,here are some blurry pics of the wedding dinner that i attended on wednesday...

I took these with my handphone,thus, the blurry and dark pics cos i was in too much of a hurry to remember bringing my camera...hehe

Well well...it seems that most chinese wedding dinners have almost the same style and format...

Its as if, at some point of time some people came out and wrote a booklet on HOW TO ORGANISE A WEDDING DINNER...



For one,there's always shark's fin soup...



I've told PEOPLE that shark's fin soup should be prohibited at wedding dinners...cos sharks are fast becoming extinct...

But then again, no shark's fin ... then people start to 'talk' behind your back....hehe..well,that's chinese for you :)

And the other thing is the almost obligatory session fooling around with the couple who just got married...

I dont know why..but why must the friends of the married couple always try to get back on their friends by asking them to do this n that on their wedding dinners?hmmm...

And ALMOST ALWAYS...one of the tricks being played on them would involve KISSING ...and for an extended period of time...no ..they dont want just a simple peck on the cheek or on the mouth...they want it be few minutes long...

Weird la...then the married couple would have no choice but to kiss in front of their grandpas,grandmas,daddy,mummy,sisters,...
brothers,auntie,uncles,boss,colleague..............

And then hor...even tho they r supposed to be kissing for an extended period of time, most of them would be standing there, locking lips without moving ...AT ALL...kekeke...

Quite funny to see them tho ...WAHAHAH 'x'

And the other thing im sure most of you would have seen at wedding dinners is the infamous KARAOKE SESSION...



A tv linked up to a karaoke system will be set up and guests wishing to dedicate songs to the wedding couple ....or rather saving money to go to a KTV would try to 'entertain' guests with their singing...mwehehehe

But as you can imagine la...how many Wang Li Homs or Keith Urbans are there in Kuching??? Well you can imagine how is the quality of their singing... but then again, we really should give them credits for the guts to stand up on stage and sing the song...

But i was wondering, what if someone came up and sang songs like YOUR CHEATING HEART....or TO ALL THE GALS I'VE LOVED BEFORE??

heee...that would be hillarious .... i sure hope i would see someone singing songs of the like at a wedding dinner nxt time....

Am always in a lovey dovey mood after a wedding dinner...MUAHAHAHA
