Since it's the durian season now...we took the opportunity to drive up to balik pulau in search of durians!!! :)
the road to balik pulau is really quite hard to drive for our small cc car...going up and down...i can feel the engine groaning when going up the hill (altho i m not the one driving la 'x')
along the road there are quite a few "stalls" selling durian. you can eat your durians there just like any normal coffeeshop :P
there's the cap kaki durian...
and even got cap tangan..hahaha
we went for the cap kaki ;)
you can eat the durian in the natural habitat of durians...
you tell the owner wat kind of durian you want...sweet/bitter? red meat?
and they will choose one for you...i m amazed at their durian expertise :P
this sweet durian here cost us RM18
but it is well worth the money since the whole fruit is guaranteed good!
even got complimentary water for you to eat on top of their durian shaped table :P
and we bought back a red meat durian
nice....
looking at the pic makes me yearn for moreee!!!!

hmm put it this way lo...it is better than buying a few rm5 durian with only a few good fruit inside :P
Very expensive...especially when compared to durians in Kuching and along the road to Sibu during the peak season. But they've got some really very nice hybrids over there...but at RM18, no thanks! Not that crazy about durian! Secret Recipe's durian cake ok! LOL!!!
As long as the durian is nice, then it's worth the money :)
I miss durian... Yummy...
Tapao some for me please... hehe..
I'm so going to crave for durian sooooonnnn :)
