Ok! another progress report...maybe the last few ones? ;)

My Very Pink Purchase

Look what i bought during the weekend...

wahahahaha a very very very pink calculator!!! love it so so much!

i have been looking for a calculator for a while to erm...calculate....the rising petrol price?yes yes...i think thats it...

and this very pink calculator caught my attention...and a bargain at RM7.99 ^_^

love it to bits!!!

now all i need is a pink keyboard,pink computer,pink monitor,pink laptop....

BBQ Steamboat

Went for BBQ steamboat 2 nites ago...

do u know what's a BBQ steamboat??? well i didnt at first...oh well, we learn something new everyday =)

for BBQ steamboat...u get a BOWLFUL of margerine...

and you get something like this on your table...

BBQ steamboat...bcos u can get to both BBQ and have steamboat at the same time...

those little side compartments are for you to BBQ till your drop!

look at the crowds... so eager to pay and cook for themselves 'x'

and this is where you pay but cook the food yourself =_=

almost everyone is standing up cos if u dont cook u don eat...

this is certainly not the kind of dinner for lazy pigs like me

bbq-ing our miniature crabs

and whole lot of other stuffs...

there's prawn, a wide variety of chicken,beef and lamb marinaded with different flavourings...char siew, curry, black pepper, oyster, garlic,mushroom...

i must say i m impressed...

they are charging RM18 per pax...drinks not included...pls refer to the address on the receipt if you are interested to try it out :P

its certainly a bargain but...it's not my idea of an ideal date... heh

for me, the idea of dining out is.... i pay and u cook for me ...bleks...okok i admit it was fun...but my arms and watch were all splattered with butter.......or margerine........whatever!

a word of advice... wear your hawaiian shorts! =)

A Day in the Life of my Pants

Would you like to be my pants??? Heck! that sounded so wrong! But i can assure you that i do treat my favourite pair of pants very well.

For one, i am extra careful with it when i wash it in order to make sure it doesn't get ruined in the machine. And when i pay my routine visit to the toilet i always make sure i carefully roll up the leg of my pants up so that it won't get dirtied with...ughhh whatever there is on the toilet floor. A good and comfortable pair of pants certainly deserves to be treated well.

Heh...so how do you treat your favourite pair of pants? If you treat them in a special way, why not make a video of it and submit it to the Dockers TV Commercial Contest? The grand prize winner will have his or her video featured on the June 13th broadcast of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno! I have browsed through some of the videos submitted to the Dockers contest and boy are they creative.

My Love for Miniatures

For one reason or another...i looooove those cute little miniatures from doll houses to those made in japan mini decorative stuffs like these...

absolutely cute!!!

the minute detail at which they make these miniatures is AMAZING!

don't you just love those cute little chocolate and eclairs and how real they look?

it even comes with a mini chocolate box =)

and so many to collect...!!!

now i know where to spend my money for the nxt few months :D

Dockers Commercial Contest

The Dockers contest gives contestants the opportunity to try their hands on making tv commercials. Each contestant is required to film a 30 seconds commercial for Dockers. Among the many commercials submitted, only ONE video will be submitted to NBC Universal to be considered as a commercial to be shown on the June 13th broadcast of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

I just browsed through the many videos already submitted for the contest and found a few entertaining commercials. The contestants certainly have put a lot of effort in making the video commercials considering that they are people just like you and me who do not have prior experiences in filming tv commercials.

There were a few video that caught my attention, but my favourite has to be the one entitled 'Dockers Temptation' by Payarn. View this video and others here. Don't worry about loading time, each video only takes a few minutes to load. You may vote for your favourite videos on the website or you may even submit your own video for the Dockers contest. Who knows this could be your big break in making it big as a tv commercial director! Visit the website for the rules and regulations for the contest.

Me and My DSLR

I admit i have been neglecting my DSLR for soooo long :(

I think i m just plain lazy to lug around that big camera around...heee...so i hve been keeping it safely in its bag... bleh ;p

but on Friday after work, me being in a such a jolly mood with the long weekend break and all...i finally brought my DSLR out for a stroll in my garden...

just a 1/2 hour walk and i find so many nice phototaking subjects in my very own garden!

did you miss my dog??? it has been a while since she appeared here...wahaha

anyway she says hi too 'x'

and there's even a stupid butterfly who wouldnt budge no matter how many shots i take of it...or...............is it...........*gulp*................................dddddead?

Suddenly i love my camera very much again 'x'

I look forward to the day when i can use the money i earn from paid posts to buy myself an external flash unit...wahahaha i hope its very soon!!! ;)

Stationery Spree

So i walked in to the bookshop without any intention of buying anything...cos i still have some reading material at home...

so i skipped over to the stationery section just to have a look and kill some time lar...

and i realized....hey! i need a penknife...

so i started picking one penknife after another and finally i found one that fits my budget...

then....*ting* i think i need some staples...to errrr..do....erm ....... i still cant think of the reason why i need staples...

eh....since im buying staples...i m not sure whether the stapler is still around...i think i lost it...yes yes.... so i need a new one....

so i picked a stapler...

so while i was choosing a stapler...i saw the tape dispenser....

OH! i need some tape...to ..ermm...wrap presents for Christmas???yes yes ...

(sorry, i just had to show off my french manicure...BWAHAHAHA)

i was a little surprised when the cashier handed me my receipt......

so when i went home and happily unpacked my new bought goodies...i saw a big stapler on my desk =(

and i thought to myself...but you dont have staples...

so i rummaged around and i saw a box of staples....GAHHH!!!

its a sickness i tell u...a disease......a curse!!! i cant stop buying stuff...LOL

anyhoo...its cheap...not much harm done....bleh :P

so who wants to auction for a stapler and a staple? we shall start with 10cents......11cents?do i hear 12 cents?.......

My Manga Character

I am sure most of you would have already heard of Bleach the anime series which has taken the world by storm! If i were to choose a manga character name, i would choose Hitsugaya Toushirou. New HiLites

i just got my hair highlighted on Saturday =)
i dyed my hair a month ago but it didnt turn up to be what i expected :(
(Red Sponge, maybe that's why you didn't hear me talk abt my hair after the visit to the saloon last month...wahaha)

but its ok...cos it provided my hair with a base color to do highlights on =)

It was a very last minute decision...done 30 mins before i stepped into the saloon...bwahaha i need to do more last minute decisions...sometimes its the only way i can get things done...

ta daa...

ok hair very frizzy...need to stock up on hair mask this weekend~~!!!!

Kluang Station @ The Spring

Was looking for a place to sit down, have a drink and WiFi last night...and we ended up at Kluang Station @ The Spring

But we were disappointed to find that Kluang Station is WiFi-less!!!!

since we were already there...just order lah!

good for coffeeholic ... you know who u r...but u cant drink coffee now!...waha!

i had toast...

i didnt think it was that nice...it came with their signature Kluang Station kaya which is sweeter than normal kaya, but i didnt really fancy the bread cos it was a little burnt =_=

Kuching Chicken Porridge

Do you like the porridge from Kuching Chicken Porridge at Rubber road?

i dont find it exceptionally nice...cos i m not a porridge fan 'x'
i only eat porridge when i m sick!

hehe...when i fall sick i will surely yearn for a hot bowl of porridge...
but i m not sick now...having porridge bcos it is the nearest place to have supper after our mandarin class :)

the porridge here is cheap by today's standards...without egg at RM2.20 and with egg at RM2.60... just few months ago, it was only RM2.00 without egg

cheap! =)

Kandos Kiddies

These few weeks, i suddenly had a craving for Kandos Kiddies...hehehe
Do you remember these chocolate candies with colorful cartoons on its wrapping?

my colleagues must have thought me crazy cos i kept all the colorful wrappers on my desk...wahaha...
when i m tired i will look at the little cartoons...LOL!

really siao...

well, i think the cartoons on kandos kiddies during my time was much nicer :P
