so i gez KAY EL would have to do lorh!

So i oredi kenak scold by Angel for not contacting or making efforts to meet up with anyone before i go kl ..boohooohooo don scold me la...

Apart from shopping...the next big highlight about this trip should be Aquaria lor...well thats the only place i took the most pics ...wahahaha

For those interested in going...its in KLCC...not sure which floor...ask those Kay El-ites...wahh sounds so nice :)

For malaysians who are able to produce MyKad,it is cheaper lor...RM28...kids with MyKid (never knew that kids nowadays have MyKid...what a name ..kekeke) can go in at a minimal price of RM12 err or RM8?? okay..im not a very good blogger :(

But the good thing is hor....when i produced my Identity card, the lady asked me IS YOUR BIRTHDAY IN AUGUST?? (hinting to everyone again...ahem) i said UHUH...

And she said...we r having a promotion for those who r born in august...cos you only need to pay half of the entrance fee

What a silly nightmare! But i was really disapointed in the dream ...

So i woke up with a vengeance to SHOP!!!! YAY!!!

I walked till my BOTH my feet has blisters and my left foot is in fact still bleeding! BOOHOOHOO...I chose the wrong shoes to wear on a shopping trip la..

Kuching Fest 2006~

Just came back from Kuching Fest!!!! THE event of the year...wahahah



Same old thing la actually...

Year in , year out ... almost the same few old stalls will operate there...

Yiu char kueh,cha kueh,penang food,satay,fried ice cream,salad yiu char kueh,kfc...

Always the same ol' thing -_-"

But still people flock there for the one whole month the fest is held...

It is really difficult to look for parking at times...espcially during the weekends..wahlau...

Even tho ppl complain and complain there is nothing to see lar...too many ppl la..so hot la....but ppl still go le!...hehehe..the POWER OF KUCHING FEST~~~

Apart from food, there is the annual landscaping competition.

Various landscaping companies will each design a landscape and put their signboard there (an indirect form of advertisement also lar :P) and all we cheap skates can have beautiful backgrounds to take our photos!!!



wahahahahaahahahaha

But i must admit they r really prety pretty




I particularly liked this one...



The water flowing down from the big stone will make the little xylophone thingy at the bottom play some nice soothing tune...mmmmm....very relaxing :P

Ok...lets get to the highlight of the whole FAIR...



THE FOOODDD~~~~



There should be at least 100 stalls operating there for one whole month...

And vacant tables and chairs for you to have your dinner will most certainly be scarce...you practically have to FIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT for it!

And when you r sitting there enjoying yourselves...ppl would be standing at the side already...wishing you would quickly stuff ur face and get up...wahahaha

There were so many types of food to choose from that we couldnt make up our mind what to buy...at the end...just chin chai buy lor 'x'

But first on our list was this......



CHEESE HOT DOG!



This come recommended from his colleague lor...so i bought one without any hesitation :)

It s just RM2 ~~

So worth trying la

Its actually a sausage wrapped with bread and cheese, put on a stick and deep fried...

Not bad ...not bad at all

When we finally found empty seats...we only had one cheese hot dog between us...staring eyes from those who have not found a seat made me quickly get up and again...made me buy on impulse...kekekeke

Paiseh mar...oredi got a seat but only eating cheese hot dog...sia soi ler...

But my impule buying did pay off!

This caught my eye...

REALLY NICE!

Friendly people,ok price, nice food!

Its actually french toasted bread, spread generous amount of chunky peanut butter and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.....MMMM NICE!!!

Since the lady was so friendly i bought this from her as well



err err..its ermm...TAIWAN MEE SUA WITH OYSTERS

Price :RM4

So i just chin chai la...buy one bowl from her

Its a creamy kinda soup with strips of mee sua and best of all~~ TWO BIGGGGGGGGG OYSTERS!!!



The oysters really fresh la!.. I like =)

Then i thought since its dinner, we should buy some more stuff...so i just chin chai buy one packet of cha kueh tiaw

Luckily its just ONE packet...



cos it sucks~~...WAHAHAHA

Beware of cha kueh tiaw stalls in Kuching Fest...you just might get 'lucky' :P

And this particular stall has a never ending stream of customers queueing up in front...



We bought 3 sticks...so so nya la 'x'!

Even tho the food sold in the kuching fest is so so only.. and finding a parking space is hard...and even finding a place to sit is NEAR impossible...we shud still go la...and be suaku abit ...see what all the hullaballoo about kuching fest is..

I rather like the place lor...quite nice and peaceful and the food and service is not bad la..price is also not bad! Thumbs up from me then :P
